I think the issue might have been he needed to have registered as just getting the pimp cane shotgun, but as his save was 100% he didn't have that step because he owned the thing. in theory this is why he couldn't do it.

All we had to do was using the damn cheat CJ

I was sure that during an interview during the lifetime of SR2 one of the devs stated that an easter egg had existed that no one had found yet, but I assumed it was about SR2 not SR. It finally took 11 years to prove it!

I watched the burninnate video a long time ago I never believed it because I thought it was photoshop I watched this video and I know that mrsaintsgodzilla21 doesn't lies I did the easter egg myself but yet I still don't believe that its true It took so long to prove that this easter egg is real so there might be other cool easter eggs in SR1... But someone is gonna have to bust their ass trying to find it :/

This is only speculation, but I think the differences in prompt screens have to do with whether or not you're playing the disc version or downloaded version of the game. I just did the easter egg on my disc version and got the prompt screen with 3 Y's. Yours was a downloaded version and had 2 Y's. That's all I can come up with and I don't know why the 2 versions would be different but that's my theory.

Has anyone ever noticed on SR1 when u don't do a mission for a long time, the enemy gang will do a drive by on you if ur in ur territory but if you are in The enemy territory, you homies will do an automatic drive by on the enemies?? I can't be the only one that notices that..

+Noble_Slip I believe it works on either version. The tricky part about this Easter egg is the safecode. Since it doesn't necessarily show if you're doing it right, it can take a lot of attempts. Also if you don't do it before 1 in game time, you have to wait for it to become midnight again.

Isnt it wierd that the burninnate video easter egg unlocked screen says “HEYY” while yours says “HEYYY”

The safe opening part is confusing me, and so I can't do it. Can someone explain it better? Do I just do the whole code backwards, or do I also do it backwards while doing it in reverse?

+mrsaintsgodzilla21 I found another glitch in saints row 4 not a big one but it allows to get on top of the big tower. You need the mech suit. For some reason the mech suit can bypass the barrier in the sky most of the tower beyond the Barrier is solid so you can stop to regain power to fly repeat this until you got on top of tower. ( there is nothing up there I just thought it was cool) ( you can also exit the mech suit and run up if you get above the Barrier) love the videos

I just did this and having cheats activated is the most important step. it worked on the first try when I used the midnight cheat.

It makes sense why it’s only done with the cheat code, so nobody plays the game legitimately while being invincible and on fire

This just makes SR 1 Way cooler

I wish this game and SR2 get a remastered version sometime in the future.

I once caught on fire during the end of the Sons of Samedi in the Redlight District and when the loaded mission success it glitched and when I appeared in the front of the building on fire no health loss setting other people on fire. I think I used the grenade launcher rifle on the last room and set myself on fire. I’ve retried a few times and never was able to redo it. Game was glitching a lot til i restarted the game.

Screw emulator, this game needs Remastered version. Without much changes, like Bulletstorm. Capcom did it with Dead Rising and runs 60 fps.
