On my falcon I see significant frame drops that aren't present in final. If this is true it's probably best they capped it at 30, try making a car explode... it drops below 30 frames if too much is going on.

@@TheOrangeMatty that's the dream, hopefully xenia the Xbox 360 emulator will get more optimized and more features to support 60 fps on saints row 1, I can run SR1 on xenia but it averages 20 fps

I love the 1st Saints Row game so much. While 2 is rightfully regarded as the best in the series, there's just a certain charm about the first game that earns a special spot.

Happy 12th Birthday Saints Row! It will always be my favorite game franchise! Crazy when I was 6 years old when I first played it. My parents told me to turn down the volume lol. I’m 17 now and I still play it to this day. There hasn’t been a day where I got sick of playing it! The mods on PC just add to the never ending fun! Such a critically underrated series. It doesn’t deserve the reputation to be called a GTA Clone. Hope the series makes a comeback!

Then THQ and Volition made Saints Row the Third, forced it to do meth, cocaine, heroine, and steroids for good measure, and then let it loose resulting in it raising the craziness bar so high that there is no way that future Saints Row games could really hope to compare. Then they made a half assed Prototype clone out of a scrapped expansion for SR3 and slapped the words "saints" and "row" as well as the number 4 on it..

@@NobleS1236 as much as i wish that wasn't the case and as much as i wish the game could go back to its roots i would have to agree. The only way they can redeem the saints is by giving it a reboot. If they do it would have to be a new set of characters. Who knows maybe a separate saints group somewhere else where the original boss makes you a leader of your own gang...ok that maybe a stretch but you get what I'm trying to say.

I think this is the only channel I watch every video that gets uploaded.

Saints Row 1 and 2 had a touching story and more realistic besides from some activities. Then I started SRTT And it was fun but the story wasn't that good as the original prequels and Saints Row 4 was wacky but FUN.

Your channel convinced me to buy saints row 2,And boy have I been missing out.Without your channel and me being subbed to it,I wouldn't have bought the best game in the series-

This brings back some memories. Jumping out of the car, getting the AK in the basketball court, getting on top of the train.

It's crazy to think that this series has been out for officially 12 Years. So many people sharing fond memories of this game from years ago, and here I am only being in to this series for two years now still discovering things about it and really enjoying it. I do hope the release of the Saints Row games on the Nintendo Switch, and the inevitable release of the next game in the series keeps drawing more people in to this game. As varied in style as the games are, and as split as the community is on what makes a good Saints Row game, it still is a fantastic series of games with a really strong fanbase/community, and channels such as this one only strengthen that claim. It was because of these channels that I was turned on to the series in the first place.

Fun fact... The moon is under the water because of how the day and night cycle works. The moon and sun would rotate so at night the sun would be underwater.

The merman was probably a glitched npc in the demo that was somehow under the bridge (most likely spawned on the cliff side as the bridge is near land) and the noise is an ambience for a whale near the sea.

And, a side note, the AK47 in the basketball court is still there in the full game. Good to grab early.

Nice choice of clothes you picked to your player. I kinda did the same thing but I only picked the colors and put a shirt along with a button shirt that was purple WHICH LOOKED REALLY cool btw and some glasses earrings and more but still your guy looks really cool 😎

I believe you can do the trash bag super jump with any weapon in the demo that was on the Xbox store. I searched my download history and re-installed it a few years back and tested it out.

i remember going down to a used game store to buy a copy of the saints row 1 & 2 bundle and when i bought it i found a GTA 4 cheat paper and something that was cars related (the pixar game)

I literally just got Saints Row 1 and 2 for passing my gcse's. Im glad i did. Im Coming from the new age and it's really changed how I see Saints Row

Now you see why a lot of Saints Row fans aren't that big on the newer games, I am kind of from the same road and I hold Saints Row 2 to high regard with immense respect for it. The new ones are not bad at all, but they don't feel like they're from the first 2.

Compared to the newer saints rows. Sr 1 and 2 are the saints rows I know the best. Then again I love them all.

The demo used to be available on the Xbox Live marketplace it has been removed for sometime in 2010.

Saints Row 1 will always be my favorite of the SR games. I'm aware that SR2 is considered the best one, but I have no nostalgia whatsoever for the second game. I didn't play it when it first came out. Hell, I only bought it fairly recently, about a year ago. On the other hand, Saints Row 1, I also didn't get until way later. BUT, it was one of the first games I wanted for 360 (along with Dead Rising 1) way back before I even had the console. I used to spend a ridiculous amount of time watching videos back on old KZread, of people playing the demo, and full game. Watching people glitch outa the demo area, watching people mess around with ragdolls, watching people blow up the train. Saints Row will always have a weird nostalgia place for me. (though I hate how buying ammo worked in it when I finally got it). I'm playing SR2 now, and it's fun, but like I said, there's no nostalgia to it for me. Which is weird considering how similar it is to the first game. But eh. Also, are we completely sure that the teleporting into cars thing is a glitch? I mean, the fact that it got patched out just for the demo, and the fact that it's still a feature in the second game, all point to it being a purposely implimented feature. A weird feature, but it definitely seems on purpose. Or at the very least, it was a bug that they eventually decided to leave in as a feature. Unless it wasn't patched out of the demo, and was, instead, a bug that popped up after the demo released. Regardless, it being in SR2 seems a bit weird.

The saints row 1 demo is still there Story of how I know So im sitting there watching one of your amazing videos and then I look at my disc holder. I say "Ahhhh shit" So I look through all the discs and I didnt find saints row 1. So I looked through a box of all my dads stuff Xbox 360 Saints row 1 and other games So the disc was scratched and I told my brother. We were both a little pissed. So I unhooked my ps3 and hooked up my xbox 360. I was bored of dead space so I looked through the store for a while in demos. I remembered a demo for saints row 1 and yknow being a hardcore 12yr old saints row fan I downloaded it and the next day I got my saints row 1. Demo's still on my xbox 360

When I was 14 four years ago I’m glad I bought Saints Row instead of Saints Row 2 while Saints Row 2 is my favorite game there was something more appealing about Saints Row and I loved it immediately after I played it. Honestly I love Saints Row more than Saints Row 2
