I wonder if the clone idea from Saints Row Prime ended up turning into the Trouble with Clones dlc for Saints Row The Third. It depends on what happened first. Also, Gat Outta Hell had you recruiting some of hell's worst occupants, which is part of the idea for Prime where Johnny revives a bunch of humanity's greatest villains and figures.

That's a good theory but no the trouble with clones DLC was actually hinting at Saints row Prime that's why the Narrator winks at the Camera at the end of the DLC because it was hinting to Saints row Prime but we didn't get anything from that sadly

The Moneyshot Pack for SR3 actually did have to do with Moneyshot, you originally were able to unlock items in Moneyshot that would be brought over to SR3 kinda like what other XBLA games were doing around the time, obviously Moneyshot's cancellation made them just release those items as a DLC instead so they weren't wasted.

Troy didn't go through all that undercover work to be mislabelled as troy bradstreet

It would be interesting to go over cancelled projects from other franchises as well, like Final Fantasy or Assassins creed. I'm sure there are some other interesting gems out there.

Saints row 1 and 2 just have such unique Style, that I haven’t seen in videos games since San Andreas. Every game in general afterwords have the most White Washed Worlds

I honestly would have loved to see Saints Row Undercover and Moneyshot made into proper games. The Saints Row series was one I enjoyed very much and I would have loved to see more games in the main Saints Row series.

Agents of mayhem is Direct reference to one of the options we got to choose in saints row 4 was to start the world over agents of mayhem the agents just being saints row members In a alternative world... gat out of hell was one of the options aswell.. Gat out if hell was supposed to be a dlc that turned into a full game.. But one can see that the game is short just like a dlc add on...

Idk if it counts but I’ve also heard that agents of mayhem originally started as a saints row game being titled “Saints Row: Agents of mayhem” before shorting down to just “Agents of mayhem”

I feel like if they really want to save the series they should bring back the undercover cop storyline. That would’ve worked so well for a Saints Row game and would’ve been perfect for the reboot instead the garbage we actually got

The Cancelled SR3 DLC Morphed into Saints Row 4.

Why did they cancel the saints row undercover game that sounds like an amazing concept and a nice change but not the over the top changes we got with saints row the third and saints row IV ☹️

Upon hearing about Prime's existence, I honestly felt a little sad that we might have had a chance at a proper SR4 that IV itself just did not provide... Uh... Prime honestly sounds like it would have been just as bad as IV from the story alone, so I suppose it isn't much of a loss.

I love the first 3 Saints Row games. Saints Row The Fall, Undercover, Money Shot, and the Cooler would have been cool Saints Row games. The Cooler would of been a cool SR3 DLC. I never knew Saints Row had a Wii port 😮. Saints Row: Prime would of been cool and most likely better than the Saints Row Reboot 💯

With a title like _Saints Row: Undercover,_ I can't help but think of the _Driver_ series given that in the first three games you play as an undercover cop.

I hope one day we get another Gangsta Saints Row like 1 and 2, specially like 2 But without the shitty boss battles lmao

The original 2 games always get the most love but I did enjoy the 3rd even if they didn’t keep the tone or ruthlessness of the boss, so to of missed out on this one as the 4th is a shame. It coulda been the thing to add grit again even with the topic of cloning involved, like if the boss had any hope of stopping Gat he had to find a place in himself he hadn’t been to in a long time and in the process alienated some of the newer crew members who’d never seen them like that before. Maybe Gat coulda brought Carlos back just to torture him to death all over again for putting Ayisha in harms way and that’s what tips him into his old ways 🤷‍♂️😅

I wish Volition took all they had from Undercover and made it a proper modern game, maybe taking some of the leftovers from SR Part Four (like the cover mechanics and parkour). It's a shame this will never happen.

The reboot is the retcon ending from Gat out of Hell. AOM is also part of this retcon, since the OG Saints crew became the one thing they despised, a law enforcement agency known as M.A.Y.H.E.M.

Money shot looks really cool. Wish we got it, and part 4 instead of what we got.

Money Shot seems clearly inspired by the Wanted movie.

What I wish they would do is just go off from Saints Row 2, redo everything and make it right and better. And instead of making it some weird wacky alien world where the Boss or Playa becomes some president, make them like a gang leader and branch out to other cities with a good storyline and characters.

Saints row : undercover or the fall basically looks like it was cancelled because it looks way too similar to San Andreas especially when you aim to kill someone

I like the idea behind SR Prime more than what we got with SR 4. I know the fanbase would've still hated it because it was wacky and "not gangsta", but It sounded fun.

I would’ve loved to have seen Part Four being released as a full, proper Saints Row game. As much as I love the Saints Row 4 we now have, I do think Part Four would’ve been a much more better game

With how rushed the reboot felt. I wonder if the original idea was to build off the cancelled Saints row prime given that information came out regarding Agents of Mayhem having a dedicated map/ mission editor and the team's emphasis on this being the '' Best and biggest saints row to date''. It would be curious to see how a shift in tone, engine and console ended up with the project being a glorified test map in the end.

This is random asf but they should lowkey make a saints row New York or Chicago or a sumn, use a big well known city with real gang culture and implement the saints and actually make the game closer to number 1 and 2 with better graphics n all that. Random though but I feel like it would slap

I actually have the unfinished build of Saints Row: Money Shot on my 360, don’t ask how, I just have it. The game is extremely unfinished (unfinished textures, unfinished maps, some maps aren’t even done causing it to load the first stage by default when trying to access unfinished stages)

saints row money shot's .xci for 360 did leak at some point as I managed to find it and have it on my RGH system, though it is still a dev build; has achievment support though and the moneyshot dlc for the third was intended to be unlocked via different rewards in the moneyshot standalone game ^^

Not even Violation knows what an actual Saints Row game is. They've been proving that since SRTT. The only actual SR games are 1 and 2. Though personally, I prefer 1.

Its just awful that they chose to make a dlc the fourt game in the series which began as the downfall to saints row because it pretty much killed the future to the origional saints row with its ending. Honestly it would have been way smarter to push saints row 4 as dlc as origionaly planned and wait out for a new game then compete with GTA which we all know had more popularity than saints row. I mean the hype that GTA V generated was massive when it was anounced back 2011.

I don't know if Cleopatra deserves to be in the company of Stalin and Genghis Khan.

Well, I don't regret that we didn't saw these games and they were cancelled. But what I regret 100% is 1. That Saints Row 1 were never released on any other platform, including PC, for everyone to enjoy and 2. That Saints Row 2 has very, VERY bad optimization on PC. Like, my PC should be more than enough to play Saints Row 2, with it's washed out and plastic graphics and mostly empty and bland open world, but in reality the port is so bad that, I can only make this game run good in the prologue of the game. But after that, FPS falls down from 60 to 30, and hen to 20, 15 and eventually to 5. And after that, game can just freeze and stop working. Like, come on! GTA San Andreas has more detailed world AND I can even put some mods that would make draw distance too far, and those that makes all objects load in distance very far and fast from the player, and it will work smooth. But then comes Saints Row 2 and shows me a middle finger. It ain't cool. And it is sad that the guy, who were trying to repair the game few years ago has passed away, cause I have been wanting to play this game for many years, and all I have is that crappy PC port that doesn't work properly. Well, at least I played Saints Row 3 and 4. Those were fun.

Should have continued after 2 going after Dex I don’t have energy to go into depth you get the picture it would be an awesome follow up story I don’t mind steelport make it more alive and bring Dex as a villain and don’t try to kill Gat like that disrespecting an saints icon

My ideal "Saints Row 5" would be.....(Cut Scene)....a new "Player" protagonist would be watching a bad movie....(The Events Of Of 2022 Reboot). "Player" would shoot the tv set & start the storyline & game play from there. It would take place in Sunny "Miami" fictional version I would call it "Beach City". It would have all new Saints to connect with, 4 new gangs plus Swat.A ruthless Russian gang, a Black Gang, a Italian Mob - ish gang, a All Female Syndicate, & a British gang. New music, new customizations, new weapons, cars, safe houses & business rackets. New & returning side quests like Fight Club, Boat Drug Running, Street Races, Rival Business Sabotages, Swim & Water Ski Races, Drug & Weapons Running, Easter Eggs Hunts & Gang Recruiting. The music would be consistent of 80's 90's & Current variety mixes, including new talk radio. If we gonna do this then we gonna have to kill off all the old Saints & create new fresh non woke or hipster characters & bring in serious characters. It have funny moments but the game would return to it's hardcore gang element. 🍸🧊🍸🧊🍸🧊🍸

i just recently played through the series having not touched it in so many years and i gotta say.... i didnt want to stop playing the games, normally i play a game for a couple hours then swap to something else but no, i would play all day and not want to stop SR1 is easily the worst of the bunch, so much so i threw on cheats to get through it easier since its unforgiving if you die in missions, but still a fun time SR2 is where i did not want to stop playing, so good, however i did take a break after i beat it so i wouldnt get burnt out. SR3 i also didnt want to stop playing, my favorite i think in the series, but could swap with 2 depending on my mood SR4 while i enjoy the movement and gameplay, yes its not really a saints row game IMO but its still extremely fun and entertaining. i took another break after this one GooH, its...meh, short standalone DLC type thing for SR4 where you just do activities to get Satan mad, playing as Gat or Kinzie is awesome though havent played agents of mayhem or the reboot

Agents Of Mayhem has a very addictive gunplay. 60 hours spent on the main campaign, not bad but not great, just good. Sad the game was flopped, their plans on the sequel was HUGE!

I know I'm going to get a ton of hate but I actually liked Saints Row 2022. It's like Deadpool and GTA mixed. The level of goofyness is funny. And you can turn cop cars into civilian cars. You can save any vehicle you want. You can do whatever you want.

SMH as a person who used to be a Saints Row Mark that would sit on the SR forums hours a day back in the day these canceled titles hurt. I say that because the stuff we got vs what we could have got is just plain sad. That Undercover oine should have been SR3, not the garbage we ended up getting & SR Prime would have been epic to bring in that quirky yet still dark side. This is truly sad.

I think the story between the first two Saints Row games would be more interesting then a post 2 undercover cop story personally. I wish they had made a Saints Row game following Boss in the Agents of Mayhem timeline. He or she couldn't take Stillwater since Pierce handled that in this timeline but they could have rose to power in Steelport or a new city during the aftermath of Agents of Mayhem.. Start fighting gangs then Legion starts pumping resources and troops into the gangs in exchange for loyalty leading to Boss and Mayhem forming an alliance and the original timeline Saints that are part of Mayhem being sent to assist Boss, and perhaps some of the other Mayhem members as well. Perhaps the order you took on the gangs could influence what enemies and missions you faced later as Legion doesn't really notice you until you take out a gang so the later gangs get the Legion goodie bags. Maybe have Carlos and Lin as lieutenants as well
