@@davec3901 band politricks can cause hurt, pain and sometimes joy..i played in and out of bands for 15 years - most i made the cut, some i didn't..presentation has a lot to do with it, and not always talent and attitude - i learned to live with it..sorry, i didn't know the original drummers name, Mr. Paul Cook!

So True. There are 4 Members of Sade Band since 1982. The 4 of them have been together for 40yrs+. *Sade Adu* -Vocals & Lyricist, *Paul* -Bass Guitar 0:04, *Andrew* -Keyboards 3:15 and *Stuart* Guitar & Saxophone 3:42. All 4 are Songwriters. There are other Musicians that started playing with them years later on & off and have been with them for close to 15yrs.

She's more beautiful now than ever

As some people said here, Sade is a band. The band took the name of the singer and frontwoman, but it's not just a singer with a band in her back. Sade Adu used to write the most of the lyrics, but the guys on bass, keyboards and guitar+saxophone made the music. People on drums, vocals, and extra instruments have been changing , but this 4 people have been a real band for more than 3 decades. We have to appreciate that, all these beautiful songs wouldn't exist without these 4 people.

This video of her just "merely" introducing the individual members of Sade is as captivating as any of her music videos. I'm just numb with love for her, I've been a fan for 34 years. To me she's the best ever!

Like children, listening to their Mama talking to them. Such mutual respect and greatness. Thank you for bringing your gifts to our hearts and Souls.

I was fortunate enough to go to this tour totally last minute, I sat high in the nosebleed section where I could literally touch the roof of the arena! Sade drew me in like it was a small club, the whole concert was a dream, the simplicity of the lighting, the sound of this amazing band, and of course the sexy and soulful Sade. This part where she thanks her band and the audience was a lesson in thankfulness and gratefulness and the reason her band is so tight they can be no other way, and how we love her so❤

She is so humble and down to earth ! It sooooo rare to see the main singer even acknowledge the band but here you can see the unity ! Real musicians coming together to create magic !!! Long live the Queen of soul, Sade !!!!!!!!

Sade, Stuart. paul and andrew have been together since the early 80’s they are Sade, the only pieces that change are the touring band!! I actually prefer the touring members from 93-94, when they and rick braun, Leroy Osbourne, any one remembers when stuart had those dreds !!lol

The ultimate epitome of class

If I was stranded on a Dessert Island, and could only take 1 CD with me - I'd take " Love Deluxe " or any other Sade CD. Their music encompasses: Pop, Jazz, Latin, Rock, R&B, Blues & Reggae Incredible Talent / Phenomenal Band. oNe LovE from NYC

Some artists forget that without the band, there is no music to compliment the voice. No one man runs the show. Effective production takes a " joint/collaborative effort. You go girl!

That voice and she believed in Andrew and Stuart. If she had gone solo we would never have had the sound we hear today. Her loyalty not to go solo is why she is the megastar today.

Whenever I listen to Sade’s deep, cool voice, I always must remember to Barry White. She is the female Barry White of our days - and her band is her Love Unlimited Orchestra. Sade is an excellent singer and performer, but Sade is also a brilliant band which makes these songs unique.❤

I had the extreme honor and pleasure meeting Sade on her first American tour. She is not only beautiful outside but equally beautiful on the inside. A sweet and humble woman. If you want to make sure that what I am saying is real...ask her who gave her a Mickey Mouse balloon back stage at the Universal Amphitheater.

Class act I've been loving her music since I was in 5th grade 1985, I stayed up and heard is it a crime on SNL" she was their guest". I have been a fan ever since. So talented!

I love her backup vocalist @ 1:30. He’s so sweet and handsome. And I love his voice 💕

I have been a SUPER SADE FAN since forever and although there have been a lot of singers over the years who I love, NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE has made me enjoy an artist as much as I love, adore, respect and appreciate Sade and her band. My life is rich because I have this catalog of music that I can listen to and cherish forever. She is truly one-of-a-kind.

Very cool. I always love to see the stars giving due props to their bands. Sade has incredible musicians working with her. Virtuosos who know the art of laying down the groove while giving just the right licks at the right time. That's what makes her music so great.
