In the 70’s -90’s , I was a rocker and a live concert lover, but every time Sade would come to town, I would be there. The groove and vibe she could create on a summer evening, the way she had the crowd in the palm of her hand and the angelic voice was something that cannot be put into words or adequately explained, but I’m just grateful I was part of it.

For 20 years...every time an algorithm brings her up...I have to listen. One of the most beautiful women out there...and she does it through class. Thank you...for saving me...again

A lot of people have put comments on here like, "i'm a rap guy but i love her"" i'm a reggae chick but i love her" "i'm a metal guy but i love her" The truth is, you are none of those things, you are all lovers of fine music, that is why you love her and i love you all. You are my brothers and sisters in music and you all have good taste. Good music is wherever you find it, and youv'e found it here. Keep your horizons clear my friends and be open to everything. It's crazy how the simplest notes in music can make some of the greatest songs ever recorded. Sade is all about feeling and I think that's what makes her music so authentic. True artist !

Believe me, she is somehow even better live. More emotional. I remember listening to her performing pearls live, after some 10 years I still remember the moment and the feel.

Getting older never bothers me. when I think of all the genres of music concerts I’ve been to from Stevie wonder, Diana Ross , Sade to u2 and 100s more I can say I grew up with the best music ever!!!

I can't get over the way they framed it... with everyone wearing black and white to match the light and the background, down the instruments, and then here she comes in bright red, just this incredible pop of color it makes such a stunning image, like the stage is as much art as the music. So incredible and well done!!

Me too. Her, Aaliyah and Anita Baker are my ultimate favorite female artists. I won't ever be able to see Aaliyah (may she RIP), so I have hope for Sade and Anita 🙏🏾. They are in their 60s now after 3 decades of career, plus they aren't the most publicity seeking type of artists and also I think they enjoy their life outside of the spotlight so I think my hopes of seeing these 2 legends live are getting smaller and smaller but I still have hope.

Saw Sade in concert at Brighton as a young lad in the 80's got to be the best ive been to. Here we are 40 odd years later. She still awesome

This song always brings tears to my eyes because my mom from dc and moved to New York and lived for 40 years until she passed away in 2015 due to cancer as a dj I can barely play this song and get thru it because it’s such a beautifully arranged song about the street culture of the New York City native that I identify with and my mom adopted rest in heaven DORIS CURTIS WE TRULY MISS YOU LOVE YOU FOREVER!!

WOW I HAD NO IDEA SHE WAS IN HER 60s

When I was young, people laughed at my taste in music. Sade is the voice that has been underestimated the most. Now I laugh at the people from back then when I still listen to Sade. At least one song by her every day for over 30 years and I calm down and feel super relaxed. Sade.... THANKS FOR YOUR MUSIC!! This voice is so unique that there will never be a second time. If you think about it, since the 80' it's been the most soulful jazz voice ever for me. It's a pity that there won't be any more concerts. Sade? All the best to you and please keep making music.....

That impish smile, those deep eyes, soft voice and body movements...amazing. A gift to us all.

The way these guys vibe is incredible. And her voice, no brainer.

Totally mesmerizing, silky smooth vocals. This band is a class act,very smooth.

I love the guitar work on this, it's just enough and not a single note more. Perfect.

There's rare few moments when a band find's there groove live. This band finds it every show they do, and they hold that groove all show long... You can see it, hear it, and even feel it.

Absolutely flawless performance by such an amazing artist. Grew up listen to this lady and will continue to listen to her for as long I'm still breathing. 2024 and this song is still so fresh.

80’s kid here. An icon in every sense, music beyond her time, sophistication unmatched by almost all female artists and a woman who remained true to herself and the music she defined.

Not very often when the live version is better than LP. This performance is absolutely amazing. A unique moment, everything is perfect. I wish I was there.

It's very easy to mistake these musicians for magicians :) Sade still blows me away after listening for over 3 decades..possibly the greatest band and songstress of all time!

You should've seen it in person. We walked out of that arena in Charlotte, NC in a trance. She had that diverse audience of all races and ages, even small kids and older adults walking with canes, in the palm of her hand. She is truly magnificent.😊

A beautiful woman, a beautiful queen, beautiful blessing…. No matter what year we’re in… It never gets old, it gets better, better…. Her, the band are fabulous!!! The way play and sound…. Together… Wow! I listen to her everyday, brings a joy….🎶🎤 can’t help, to sing along. Hope there’s a time… A dream/wish to see…. In a live concert…. She’s phenomenal Soldier of love ❤️

Take it from another woman, Sade knows the power of her sensuality.

I was born in 1986 and have been listening to sade ever since I could remember. Now there are songs I've heard for the first time, that I immediately relisten to it multiple times. Boi, I can only imagine how I would feel hearing this song the first time it hit the airways. A timeless classic, her whole catalog is honestly ❤.

There's no one like Sade and I'm glad every time I stumble upon her videos
