I think my biggest issue is that the relationship between Stolas and Octavia is written off as "Stolas is kind of a bad dad but he's trying", when really it's "Stolas is being abused and trying his best despite the circumstances and Octavia just doesn't fully realize".

I mean, he's still a "kind of a bad dad but he's trying" as he still brought Blitzø along when he was supposed to spend a day with his daughter (not considering how she'd feel). Even if the marriage was forced & Stella was abusive, while not a horrible father he still isn't the "best" as he's sometimes inconsiderate of how his choices would affect his daughter.

Yeah... Also, we are given that moment with Paimon hitting Stolas over the head for bowwing to Blitz, so he might not even have realized that it wasn't a normal thing at first. Kinda like, oh, I got hit, I must have said something wrong. Another thing that gets to me is Stella talking about how Stolas is in bed with her. How he is just "staring at the wall" and she has to "do everything". Like, okay I might be overthinking this, but that sounds like Stolas was distancing himself/dissociating, and while he was in this state, she slept with him, more than once. Like not to be blunt, but that sounds like marital SA. And she is using it as a bit of funny gossip at a party to put him down...that's sick. I mean, honestly it isn't that surprising considering that they are in an arranged marriage and prior to Blitz he seemed like he might have been more inexperienced in sexual matters, but still to have it be hinted at in that way is off-putting.

Based on the VERY raw and realistic way SA and abuse is portrayed in Hazbin Hotel, I dont think you're overthinking that detail at all. people defend stella because they want to pretend they're not monsters for doing the same thing. so they invent a villain in stolas, so that they can pretend to be heroes. because in the world of abuse, fear and passion is more important than reason.

13:24 - The page that Stolis turned to are the Asmodean crystals that succubus and incubus uses to travel to the human world. There's a theory that Stolis was planning on giving Blitz one of these crystals so that Stolis could have his grimoire while Blitz can continue his business without it. The reason why Stolis didn't give Blitz or told him about the crystals is because he believed Blitz would have no reason to visit him anymore.

For the question "Are they not owls!" In the Lesser Keys of Solomon, the book Stolas's name comes from, all demons have different forms. In the show, its very likely that all of them are different kinds of birds (Peacocks, Vultures, Parrots I think. For the how many children Stolas' father has (His name is Paimon btw) its theorizied that maybe 70 because in the Lesser Keys of Solomon there is 72 demons of hell. But this is just a theory. Also your silent reaction for Stolas' song just tells how good it is. He has the best songs. Your little conversation with your sister was so funny, in a good way of course.

The imp doll that he cuddled in bed and is cuddling in the portraits might have signified that he already had a fascination with imps at a young age > Paimon is confirmed to have multiple children, might also mean that he has multiple wives > The girl on the tight rope looks like a young Barbie Wire, might be Blitzo's twin sister, don’t know > Interesting note is that, a lot of the circus imps have the same mark on their foreheads, would probably indicate that they are a group and not just a family crest that some people have theorized > Here, we see Blitzo's dad have a heavy favoritism towards Fizzarolli rather than his own son, to the point that he's willing to sell Blitzo for 5 dollars and a condom > Hooo boy, I have thoughts about the conversation between Blitzo and Fizzarolli, for me at least, this scene might be a really big RED FLAG. Why? This might be a hint on how Fizzarolli may have lost his limbs. Let's break down the interactions between the two balloon horses. The worm horse lost its legs in the "great pirate war", worm horse fought back against its assailants, the worm horse tried to run away, only to be caught up by said assailants, leading to them taking worm horse's limbs. Next banana pudding helps worm horse feel better, then apparently more blood. Now why do I think this might be a RED FLAG? Let's think for a bit, the story might be over-dramatized, but here are my thoughts, Blitzo and Fizzarolli in some way got into a fight, not with each other but with other people. My speculation is that the "great pirate war" might have been a rival circus. Maybe jealous of Fizzarolli's rising fame. Getting pushed back, Blitzo and Fizzarolli runs away, fleeing the fight. The assailants somehow caught up to them or just Fizz and proceeded to chop him up and take his limbs. That or maybe a burning tent of some sort, falling debris leading to pinned and broken limbs. OR, they were doing a performance act, and then accidents then falling debris leading to pinned and broken limbs. After everything, Blitzo wanting to help his friend picks him up and tries to leave, somewhere there, an accident might have occurred causing Blitzo to have a white scar on the right side of his face, hence more blood. > When Blitzo’s dad was pulling him away from Fizzarolli, you could see in the background a family portrait of Blitzo and Barbie Wire, their dad Cash Buckzo, and their mom Tilla > Side note, a lot of people mistake Blitzo and Fizzarolli as brothers, I’m just going to say that they’re not, in the background of episode 4 in the IMP building, a picture frame on the wall shows an advertisement for the “Amazing Imp TWINS”, and the twin is a twin sister, so no, FIzzarolli and Blitzo are not brothers, the mark on their foreheads is a circus mark as all the performers in the circus have them. > Cash Buckzo guilt tripping and gaslighting > I like the way how Stolas sits, really cute > Background music is the occasion bgm that we hear whenever the IMP gang are doing their work, only this one is more childish at heart > BGM is now the BGM of Ep.7 outro but more happy[???] > Happy Pills, Don't do drugs kids, the label looks like it comes from Belphagor, the King and "Prince" the Sloth ring > The Hellhound Doberman[??] on the left is wagging his tail > Rose-colored lenses > Doberman[??] boi is sad now > The contrast of the 2 paintings is stunning > My god, music bops > Someone in twitter apparently already had already translated this, long story short, Asmodean Crystals are used by succubi and incubi in order to traverse into the Overworld or Earth, maybe Stolas would be planning to give Blitzo one for his company while he takes back his book in order to cut ties from Blitzo. > Stolas has been so physically abused so much that he already knows the trajectory of that slap > Might have missed a lot of things but oh well…

Fun fact about Stolas’ father (his name is Paimon btw) he’s actually the leader of the Ars Goetia, making him the tenth most powerful and influential demon in Hell (second only to the Seven Deadly Sins, Charlie and her mother) And I’m sorry to say Stella can’t just “die in a fire” she’s one of the Ars Goetia as well (the Ars Goetia are Fallen Angels if you don’t know) so only Angelic Weapons can kill her

Love the sisterly interaction. Reminds me of me and my sister when I used to try and explain my shows and anime to her. She never got it either. This was such a great episode and Stolas is absolutely my favorite character, the one with the most development, and arc so far.

If Stella had even the tiniest shred of class in her, you would think that she'd be impressed that Stolas was finally standing up for himself after all these years, but nope.

The Stolitz drama is probably solved/reduced in the lost episode. That's what I thought at first.

I have a theory that Stolas's father is like Zeus from Greek mythology, and he seduced women in different forms (the animation shows different forms for him) and the other children are not legitimate, so the only "official" son is Stolas (he seems like an only child).

4:33 Horse person here, it is more common for horses to develop Lamanitis from endocrine diseases but it can also be caused by excessive weight gain and consuming high amounts of sugar and carbohydrates over a long period. Lamanitis is a disorder with the hoof and affects how the horse distributes it's weight. It is very painful for the horse. Sadly Lamanitis is irreversible. Treatment includes minimizing further deterioration and minimizing pain. nerve blocks and pain killing medication is all vets can do for severe cases of laminitis.
