Less for the family, and more for Crimson only. Didn't see any other relatives, so it doesn't seem very homely for a family. Other than trying to toughen Moxxie up, and being soft is seen as a weakness; well, it's Hell, so being tough is kind of necessary. Turns out killing off others, especially loved ones, is compensating for being a control freak, rather than trying to be a reliable leader.

I love that we got to learn about Moxxie's past, but damn, his backstory really made me tear up. Am I the only one here who thinks Crim is just as bad, if not worse than Valentino? Chaz really sucks too. I'm so happy Moxxie has Millie by his side, because he deserves so much better than what he had for so long.

Thanks to this episode, I learned the slang word 'Beard' is used for someone who marries someone for the sheer purpose of covering their sexual orientation. Example, a guy marrying a lady to cover up that he's gay. Cause Daddy Crimson doesn't know how bisexuality works- So many people seem to think Moxxie's mom could be alive, simply because her face wasn't shown. What they don't seem to understand is that we're seeing Moxxie's memories from Moxxie's mind. He was so young, he'd barely remember what his mom looked like. Not only that, the trauma most likely blacked out a bunch from his mind. Moxxie wasn't forced to kill his mom. It was a male imp with his horns shaved/chopped, cause Crimson keeps trophies-

Oh he's definitely far worse. Stella is a monster but we actually never see her interact with Octavia, she seems more like a negligent parent rather than the monster that Crim is. Plus the fact that while Octavia isn't that close with Stella, but isn't shown to be actually scared of her at all makes it look like the only people that Stella physically and verbally abuses are the Imp servants and Stolas. As horrible as she is at least it doesn't look like she's doing terrible things directly to Octavia

I love it whenever you bring out the punching bag! Whenever reactors hate a character, they either scream internally or bang their desk/chair, but having a punching bag with said hated character's face on it is actually pretty clever. Plus, you throw punches as hard as Vi's from Arcane!💪

The abuse portrayed in the show breaks my heart bro

Millie’s reaction to Chaz will probably be MY reaction if I ever encounter my scumbag ex because they are both eerily similar since they have the same personality thinking that they’re a hotshot!

The most heartbreaking and heartwarming thing about this is that despite everything Moxxie kept something that Crimson could never take away, something he couldn't kill. Moxxie had and forever will have his mother's heart. Despite his upbringing after his dad killed her, her love for him still lived on and kept him alive and ultimately is what I believe saved at the end of the day

What I find so beautiful about Moxxie and Millie's relationship is that they don't force each other to talk before the other is ready. We see it in the beginning of the episode with Millie being angry and Moxxie knowing something was wrong, but let Millie tell him in her own time. Then again before they went to their separate rooms. Millie clearly could tell something was up, but didn't force Moxxie to tell her. She just reassured him that she was there and willing to listen, knowing he'd tell her when he was ready. THAT is real relationship goals!

I absolutely loved this episode so much! I’m really glad we got to see the background of Moxxies character and how he just developed in this whole episode!

As much as I hate crimson I’m actually really excited to see him more in future episodes because he’s such a good antagonist and he’s probably one of the only antagonist’s that actually freaked me out mainly because he’s intimidating in this episode but we didn’t even get to see how he fights so if he’s that intimidating without having to fight then I can’t imagine how he is going to be in actual combat. I’m also hoping we get to see more of moxxie being a badass, like I want to see moxxie and crimson fight and moxxie taking down his father.

You are correct...as far as I know. The imp in the boat is almost certainly male, and Crimson didn't have Moxxie kill his mother...but he probably did that earlier. ...why is something like that a comforting thing with this series. Also, I wanted to throw something at my screen at the "...I'm bisexual. ...yeah, gay" bit. It's there because it's going to elicit a reaction...but I know way too many people who don't see a difference...and it hurts that I've known them for decades.

Oh, boy. Given the begrudging end result of what Moxxie’s father realized in Chaz lying to him. Who knows when Crimson will return and enlist Striker himself? Interesting Richard Horvitz voices Moxxie and his dad Crimson. He likely got the idea to do a dual father-son role after doing the same thing in Billy & Mandy years back.

That's why he didn't want to sho-ot Martha then. He didn't want to ruin the family like his was ruined. 😭

This might be my fav episode. Moxxie is my favorite character so a Moxxie centered episode was just…so good. I cried when I saw his past. Poor baby Moxxie 😭😭😭😭 I wanted to hug him soooo bad!!!! Also am I the only one that thinks Moxxie has (or had before Millie came along) the hots for Blitzø?

Just found this randomly sorta cuz Algorithm, but the fact that you have a punching bag to use for characters you hate or just piss you off, is pretty sick! Dunno how often you use it but just hope those knuckles are taken care of! Other than that, love the vibe! 💜

For some reason, Moxxie's mom reminds me of La Muerte from Book of Life (and also sort of Lady Micte from Maya and the Three), she just feels so kind without taking shit from anyone and seems like she's really passionate about the things she cares about (tldr I hate Crim even more because I LOVE Micte and Muerte). I hope she's alive but I know the chances are slim :( I know on Twitter Viv said the team was trying to show that she came from Wrath but I got more Hispanic vibes from her which might be part of why I connected her to Micte and Muerte. I just know that I love her lol. Also Millie was so badass in this episode! I think Crashing a Motherfuckin Wedding may just be my new favorite song and scene in the show 🤩

The scene when little Moxie was forced to push the cinder block by his father, I truly believe that the person that was tied up was his mother! So Moxie's father made him kill his mother and I believe Moxie doesn't know it! I believe he did that to make Moxie cut off his emotional ties with his mother to turn him into a killer for the mob. This episode and Truth Seekers is probably my favorite out of them all so far

sorry but i had to comment this cause it’s too funny 😂 when you mentioned moxxie calling crimson “sir” i started laughing cause i call my own dad sir the reason is when i was little i would call him “daddy” like your normal kid but since the world has for some reason been sexualised i felt weird about referring too him as that and father didn’t feel right and he doesn’t really like dad so i just started calling him sir 🤣 for example. “siRRRR did you feed the catssssssss” “siRRRRRRRRR where did my food that was in the fridge go 😡” and yes i say it like that occasionally i revert back too little kid me but calling him sir is funnier 😂❤

idk you guys but if you pay reeal atention you can hear she saying i love you moxie i love you babe,and than she dies it gave me ghostbumps... if im imaginating things please tell my but i realy heard she saying in a muffed voice like she was crying she loved moxie so much bc she said it like 2 or 3 times here it is the time stamp for you guys 12:05 go on the original ep to hear only the ep and the moms voice if you want too i have heard here and in the original vídeo

I love how Chaz just gives up mid-verse and just says saxophone. It's so stupid but it had me on the floor for a solid 5 minutes.

Was not his mother the one Crimson nade Moxxie drown but the shoe popping up while ge said thats what happens when he gets crossed does imply he got rid of her.

The thing I see with that scene is possibly two things. 1.Crim did kill Moxxie's momther and by the time they arrived the shoe just happened to float up. Or 2 and the one I'm really hoping is the one that happened. She some how got away and Crim planted one of her shoes on the guy he made Moxxie dump.

I enjoyed this episode. I liked that Moxxie stood up to his dad, Millie trying to get Moxxie to talk but didn't pressure him because it's hard to talk about parental abuse, Blitzo showing once again that he is super loyal to his friends, and the uh, bouncing toys on the wall made me laugh (especially Blitzo's commentary on that lol.) Also Moxxie being openly bi.

MILLIE KICKED ASS THIS EPISODE!!! I FUCKING LOVE IT!!! Also if you’re looking for anything to react to may I recommend RWBY? It’s by Rooster Teeth and they love people reacting to the show. And you don’t need to edit it and cut out a bunch of stuff because of copyright. And if you do get claimed you can appeal and they will approve it pretty quickly. It’s filled with a bunch of awesome fight scenes and some lgbtq characters.

I knew crimson was bad from the beginning because in the pilot moxxie says he had a good dream about his folks being murdered (and wile his mom isn’t bad I’m sure she was supposed to be at first)

Morgan I was rewatching the ep and I saw a scenes that f me up the one with the family painting I think the hrons next to it are moxxies moms the ones with a flower cover the name

Moxxie was my favourite character from the beginning, because it was obvious he was trying hard for everyone, but he also had a bit of that loveable sass. I related to him a lot, and when this episode came out, I was in tears. Homophobia and Sexist remarks is a major problem in my household, and as a closeted Bi-sexual in the house, it's hard. My dad recently found out through messages with my friends that I also find women attractive, and he had a long and heated argument. The scene when Moxxie was called to stay back to have the "chat" with his dad struck home for me a lot, and I appreciate how well they portrayed his character when living in that environment. It was accurate. While I don't live in a mob family, and my mother is still alive, and his living conditions then were so much poorer than mine are, this episode made me connect with the character even more.

Glad Crimson killed Chaz. It’s justified despite the former still hating his own son, Moxxie. He begrudgingly had to let him go after realizing Chaz scammed him.
