Youre focusing way too much on a flashback of toxic masculinity that the show itself is CLEARLY painting in a bad light. Like we're seeing it because it's telling us how shitty that attitude is. I just dont understand the hyperfocus on that brief scene in a whole episode of the most WHOLESOME behavior and takes on masculinity & "gayness" ever shown on television.

WANNA KNOW ABOUT GAY PIRATES??? Look up the history of the TWO PIRATE QUEENS, Mary Read & Anne Bonny! They were REAL LIFE female pirates that met in prison and became sisters in arms! There's ALOT of fanlore about the two of them, but look up their history sometime!

You can tell how far Stolas has matured in the series. Divorcing Stella was his first step as an ACTUAL adult upon having that wakeup call at Ozzie's. Admitting how messed up their relationship wasn't easy for him especially when you think of how he was raised. He was taught to be a royal and not how to perform or understand social cues.
