She is so magical she made the Dutch language sound beautiful

At 2:41 the audience singing "Ooh Aah" with her gave me chills all over my body. And then when she became emotional I started crying. So many feelings in one song. S10 may not have won Eurovision but she won our hearts with her performance 🖤

Temevo che sarebbero finiti alla Spagna (che con tutto rispetto nonostante la grande coreografia, la canzone di per se, è il solito tormentone latino da 2 o 3 mesi di fama) ma per fortuna abbiamo dimostrato di avere ancora buon gusto e sensibilità. Una canzone che nonostante venga cantata in una lingua non conosciuta, ed è comunque in grado di trasmettere forti emozioni e un paio di lacrime, credo la dica lunga sulla forza della persona che la canta. Grande S10 e grande Italia!

Definitely! It wasn't one of those typical " Eurovision " songs, which sometimes can be so cheesy and lame. This one was mature, haunting and beautiful. It should have won that year.

@@fadinaim695 Yeap it was my winner of the year! Crazy how it didn't even make it to the top10. Unfortunately the staging was a bit underwhelming. Too pale. The song is truly amazing, her vocal performance and stage presence (including the perfect styling) was spot on but the stage director should have come up with something more. It was a decent presentation but decent is not enough for EuroVISION. This song needed a more extraordinary concept in its staging to outshine its competitors. Ukraine would always win but this lovely piece of art could have at least hit top3.

Her voice is very appealing to me.

As a German who lived in the Netherlands and learned Dutch and learned to appreciate and love the language I am so happy to see the Netherlands finally submitting a Dutch song. I know English seems to become more and more important in cities like Amsterdam or Utrecht because people come there, not caring for the locals or the language. many people seem to think dutch sounds too “harsh” and they don’t like it but i have been learning it for over a year and it really is a beautiful language. de diepte is a great song and it really hit home for me and i’m sure all the emotions i felt when she performed, i’d have definitely felt even if i didn’t understand the lyrics.

I am Spanish too and it makes me feel like someone who accepts her destiny. Its strong enough to say "enough" and separate from what hurts her although she will miss the good times or "comfort zone"? Someone who accepts the dark side of things and frees herself by accepting it? Its the vibration I get.

I absolutely loved this song and happily voted for the Netherlands! Her voice is amazing and the performance was so emotional it gave me chills. I looked up the lyrics after listening to it for the first time and they are really moving too! I was hoping it would win!! Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹

@@nloesoe I was happy to vote for her and so glad that she decided to sing in her native language, it proves that Germanic languages are equally suited to songwriting and can sound marvelous and not harsh at all (which I feel is a common misconception). And I think it's powerful and brave that she decided to open up about her mental health struggles in front of so many people and write about them. I have been listening to this song on repeat since the semifinal haha, I definitely want to know more songs by this artist 😍

Zo ontzettend trots!!!!! Europe gets the song and emotions and here in The Netherlands the media was asking themselves is Europe getting the dutch language. And people were negative about the oooeh and aaaa. Every language is ok in Eurovision...and everybody was singing along with the Oeeeh and aaaaa. People here are alway's so negative about our eurovision entry every year.

It was the same here in Italy, everyone kept criticising Mahmood's and Blanco's song and rendition too, I think people always find something to complain about and don't realise how stressful it is to perform live. And this song was robbed, it deserved a much higher ranking in my opinion. The ooeehh and aaa part is amazing! I sang along the entire time without knowing the words haha, well done Netherlands 🎉

The most emotional performance of the night, pure emotions and what a unique voice! Even though I don’t speak Dutch I can understand the message, she delivered it so good through music. I thank Eurovision for S10, now I’am a big fan of her. Wish the Netherlands win tonight 💔

Funny how a Songfestival pays more attention to the show and act and not to the song? 70%of the acts are sub par and no one would listen to it outside of this show.

Wasn't my favourite song at first, but I keep getting it stuck in my head and now I really wish she got a better score

Easily best and most impactful song of the contest. What a star

You can feel, that this song comes from the bottom of the hearth, when you have tears in your eyes, even if you cant understand the lyrics. It is so great

This song helps me with my anxiety and stress and is makes me happy

This performance came straight out of her heart, beautiful. It was the only ballad that really moved me. I thought the jury and public would acknowledge the performance more.

I really liked when the whole stadium went "oohoo, ahaa" even when they didn't understand the language
