[S1 - Eps. 56] A DAY OF UNEXPECTED EVENTS in Iran

The plan for the day was simple. Ride from Kerman to Yazd, taking a smaller road instead of the big expressway.
But this day turned out a bit different than usual...

The moment Noraly takes her helmet off and they see she is this brave and charming woman on a big bike, their attitude takes on a 180-degree turn and they all suddenly become very gracious, accommodating and helpful because she is so unintimidating. Noraly your friendly character is your greatest protection anywhere you go on this bad planet.
Iranians are so isolated from the world that they are often shocked to see a tourist in their country. Even more so when it's a woman riding a motorcycle alone! Thank you for being so positive and approachable, so the locals can show you their love and appreciation for you being there. Stay safe and keep riding!

One of the most stupid comments i have ever seen from a person which has absolutely zero knowledge about iran and runs his jaw judging one of the greatest and oldest cultures ever existed . Iranians are the most curious people and eager to learn about whatsoever the latest technology is even if it's unreachable for them . Maybe staying silent next time is the best option for you instead of looking like an idiot. Pathetic....

You are wrong. Millions of tourists enter Iran every year because it is beautiful and its people are respectable
the Iranian table which is made during Iranian/Persian new year is called Haft Seen. Haft means seven, Seen is equivalent to letter S in english. It's includes seven Items all starting with letter Seen/s . it usually comes with these items along with goldfish, mirrors etc : Sekkeh = Coin, Serke = Vinegar, Samanoo (An Ancient Iranian pasty food made of Wheat), Sabze which is a green plant usually Wheat or lentil shoots, Seer = Garlic, Seeb = Apple, Sumac, Sonbol= Hyacinth. Iranian/Persian new year is based on agricultural and not religion. That's why we have Sabze/Wheat shoots in it. it starts with the beginning of Spring . The tradition has been around for a couple thousand years now and Iranians love it. The government has tried so hard to destroy it or to change its meaning by adding religious elements to it but people know it and never accepted that. On the 13th day we go out in nature eat some food (usually rice cooked with fava beens and dills, and braised lamb shanks) .

Most of the people I've ever met have been friendly, regardless of nationality, background, etc. People by nature are usually friendly, what is easy to forget, when watching news or spending a lot of time online. We let few bad apples ruin everybody for us too easily. I like this series, because it shows unscripted random encounters with people, that shows this.

Every country has good people. We all have so much in common and so much to learn, experience, share and give to each other. I would love to meet and spend time with people from every country. We are all simply human.
Just a thought dear, courageous lady. I was a defense contractor working most of the Arab countries some years ago. Traveled a great deal.
