Love that holster

as a reloader with over 44years years knowledge and experience testing many center fire calibers for woods/ or hunting backup for dangerous game my load would be 255-265 flat face of brinel hardness factor of 22 at 924 fps out of that short gun. for normal self defense carry 180 gr xtp or sierra 180 jhc at 1150 fps.i have a Taurus tracker 44mag reload 180 gr xtp 1350 fps around- 600 +ft/lb energy out of a 4in barrel but im told only 3 in of actual rifling and last in cylinder chamber for the gas pouts. Great ideas thanks a lot man, I just recently got some rear nightsights but have to get a custom one made for the front because no company makes one right now.

I like the wood grips. Large hands. I use Underwood 44 special in it. Very good combo.

I'm hoping not to run into a bear that close!

The magnum loads are stout but not too bad. The magnum loads I only use for trail carry, hunting, and bear defense. The 44 specials are very nice to shoot with similar ballistics as a 45acp. 44 spl are my CCW ammo.

Can you put a link to the holster and the grips. The left side of the wood grip has a very sharp edge on it.

What size is that holster because I didn’t see one on their website with 2.625..just 2.5 and 3 in..I’d appreciate your feedback man nice gun and holster I have the 627 pc 8 shot and it’s the same frame and length

Order the 3" one then specify the dimensions or before checking out they have a section for comments. Write whatever special instructions or dimensions. Then follow up and call them directly to follow up. They make their holsters custom for every order so they will work with you.

Thanks M60 it shoots as good as it looks too. Around a grand after transfer fees and shipping. I use 44 specials in it for conceal carry its very manageable recoil

I think regular cylinders are more solid, they have more steel. I just like the look personally.

I think it's a stronger design there is more steel. I am going to film me shooting this at some point soon, just have to bring my tripod next time.

@@NYPrepper nice man i just shot mine for the first time yesterday and wow it's really a dream snubbie. The recoil on mild with a nice blast. The trigger is great and I thought I wasn't going to lije the grip because how small it is but i think ill going to keep it shot well with it.

It's just a matter of time. That internal lock will lock itself during recoil. It will happen Look it up. I'm surprised Smith hasn't been sued yet.
