@@gdttdeggegdh5471 About "no moral grey zones". CS's leader Lebedev was one of the C_Conciuosness scientists, who created the Zone in the first place. Which means, he knew exactly why the emissions were happening all this time. He wanted to hunt down Strelok, not because he thought that the Zone retalieted to Strelok's interference with emissions, but because he wanted to hide the truth.

2nd favorite faction next to the Mercs. Clear Sky are small, smart, scientific but outnumbered, outgunned and scarcely known by the other factions. Yet I love their optimism. They're the ones that see the zone as a natural order humanity needs to understand and live with. They're not in it for money or research or precious crystals that can give immortality, but rather humanity's natural instinct of curiosity and to learn more about the Zone. Altruistic, but not so much they're crusaders like Duty. Ambitious, but not so selfish like the Mercs. Optimistic, but not so carefree as Freedom. Small, but not so reliant on others like Ecologists. Dedicated, but not forced like the Military. Understanding of the Zone, but not so zealous as Monolith. Clear Sky are always my #2 choice in Anomaly and Call of Chernobyl.

I find it interesting how much of Clear Sky is blind leader worship. Never realized how deep that went. It’s a nice flaw for a faction like them, who seem genuinely quite decent otherwise.

@@jimbothegymbro7086 Lebedev along with Calancha and Suslov were members of the C-Consciousness.. As far as i know, these three refused to work with C-Con not long before the second explosion on the CNPP and birth of the Zone in 2006.

@@jimbothegymbro7086 that’s not a theory, it’s canon. You can read one of the documents in COP and it confirms all of the Clear Sky leaders are ex-group scientists. You can also read about it in the developer design doc that you can find online, though you need to use discretion since some of the ideas got scrapped (it’s called the Anarchy Cell Design Doc)

It's sad that after all efforts and all that optimism this faction ended in that way... May the souls that marched through Limansk, storm their way throughout the Hospital and fighted in the CNPP rest in peace

Don't worry though, after destruction of the C-Con , we see ,in COP that lots of monolith members regained their senses and left , feeling scared and lost ,since everyone else saw them as Madmen,even though it's no longer true for all of them , so we can safely assume most of the clear sky members that got brainwashed by C-Con returned to the swamp base to revive their faction ,since they had no-where else to go ,and of course, they didn't necessarily send everyone to the CNPP ,so my at least have a second chance.

I’ve always liked clear sky. It’s almost like they are all the good from every “good” faction in one. They’re like unified Loners; organized, friendly, with sturdy experienced leadership, and decently well equipped. I love their sky camo and vintage equipment

I'm choosing Clear Sky. They are hella optimistic and chill😂

I like how they try to keep motivated by their goal and seem to think Zone is not for earning power or money like what the other factions are trying to do.

Clear sky is the true MVP of the zone. Being the first whole FACTION assaulting the CNPP while trying to save the zone or maybe even the world is a true achievment.

the hardest faction to start with in stalker anomaly imo, although renegades are easy to kill, having every kind of mutants and even bloodsuckers, pseudodogs on day 1 is intense. After update 1.5.1 that allowed you to walk at the water in the swamps and take no radiation damage, this seems now to be a walk in a flooded park you could say renegades are the hardest to start with, but bro that's only if you like things like cock and ball torture

I honestly couldn't just look past the fact that 1.5.1 removed the radioactive water from the Great Swamps, it really did make it a walk in the flooded park as you said haha. So i downloaded an addon that brings the radiaotion back. However, i was unpleasantly surprised to find that the addon also makes EVERY single puddle in the zone radioactive as well, but i decided to just go with it :D

CS is widely regarded as the easiest start in Anomaly, mainly thanks to all the artifacts and stash locations in the swamps area. Sure, you can run into some dangerous mutants but they usually don't travel in packs around swamps, ain't nothing a double barrel can't handle.

CS is pretty easy in Analmeme bro, they're neutral to pretty much everyone and the Swamps are full of mutants to skin and artifacts to nab literally the only downside is that their base is in the bottom corner of the Swamps so it's a long-ass return trip by the time you've made it past the Scorcher

Most of the time that can be read as "yeah, very funny, don't joke ever again"). Also: "))0)" is an equivalent of putting "/s" at the end of a joke, "((9(" is put when someone says something hurtful (be it they mean it or as a joke) and you want to show that you're hurt, but you're taking it very lightly, or pretend to be hurt and go along with their joke (again, depends on the situation). Always rushed to the Garbage to find some artifacts and craft recipes(Upgraded Rucksacks mostly, couldn't find any in the shops). Then i rushed to the Yantar' and after several hours of hunt for artifacts and better guns i rushed to the labs and then to the Zaton to find better loot and hopefully buy that heavy "Forest" armor suit.

I'm playing my first run as free stalker in anomaly and I've found their squads everywhere I went excluding agroprom. They are more often sitting in the farm (cordon) than actual loners, always asking for guide on the channel. I've even meet them in Darkscape

Odd.... I just said that Clear Sky are to the zone's factions what the Tau are to the 40k universe and here you are!

I guess the reason for Clear Sky optimism because Clear Sky (the game) was set in the Zone's early days where everyone is still setlling down and thus have aspirations for what they want to do. The other factions meanwhile were inteoduced in SoC, quite a while after CS with a lot of stuff happening in the meantime that eventually broke down many faction members.

No, lol. During the Clear Sky, Freedom and Duty were in full swing war, while Bandits and Loners were constantly harassing eachother. In Shadow of Chernobyl you can no longer see large scale operations, since everyone is tired from all the fighting. In Call Of Prypiat there is an universal cease-fire among factions, and only individuals go through brief duels.

Everyone is trying to carve their place in the Zone with a lot of battles involved during Clear Sky which broke much of the veteran stalkers, While during SoC major factions already settled down with only minor skirmishes here and there with most stalkers that survived until this point (mostly the veterans) already become jaded and it rubs off to the newer stalkers.

When I was playing as a Duty member on CoC and I installed a dynamic faction relationship by DocX, I never felt happier than when I got a message saying "Clear Sky and the Duty faction have formed an alliance." Clear Sky is the chillest faction ever, and their base is pretty cozy, and their objectives aren't that bad.

I really liked the background blues. Reminded me the "on life" chatters going on between Ryo Saeba and Falcon in the City Hunter series. Almost existential.

@@mikeb5063 Playing Warfare in CoC right now and as Military i have a cease-fire/neutrality with everyone (except Monolith of course) and i think an alliance with the Bandits. I only felt i forced the one with Ecologists (they turned hostile at some point) capturing 4 territories around them and then sending all teams from all sides plus a couple from Agroprom directly to the bunker.

I guess they are pretty calm about it although there seems to be some strong hierarchy there with the low tier foot soldiers just following orders and the brains giving them orders.

Thanks for the video! I learned some interesting stuff from it. So from what I understand not all CS members are chad scientists and fighters at the same time. From these dialogues we learn most of them are simple grunts sent by their scientists leaders on fetch quests and the less important Stalkers have no idea what is the purpose of their orders and what their scientists are working on. The lack of information has started making the lower CS members wary and suspicious of their own faction in some dialogues.

Can't wait for the ecologist one, i swear i always hear them saying something about "Klondike" and I can't stop thinking about the ice cream!

Clear Sky is to the zone's many factions what the Tau are to the 40k universe.

Hey this is very interesting, i think the whole point of the faction just following what Lebedev and the scientist say is something that is lost in translation, when you talk to the members they tell you confidently things like "we are studying the zone", but with the chatter (which is exclusively in Russian) you get the point of "oh, they just follow what they say and have no idea of how the zone really works"

I nene noticed that the Clear Skies faction armor has a mag pouch on the back. Imagine twisting and turning in the middle of firefight trying to unbuckle it and pull the mag out.

@@user-py7qj3ey8x i was about to point it either. Much alike a personal medkit. It's for you, but it's placed on your back, for others to use on you (and there is less risk that the pouch will be shoot off from you).

I always considered clear sky similar to duty, cause they both consider the Zone bad thing and want to destroy it. But here I learned that Clear Sky doesn't even like duty
