I picked one of these up over Christmas and it's been pretty good. I've only done it a couple of times. The first time my edges were really bad. Even on height 2 and overgrown I only went through half a 6ah. I think my 2ah battery would be enough for upkeep. 36v batteries have a lot more energy (a 6ah 36v vs a 6ah 18v used in the exact same condition/tool with an inverter will last twice as long

The extra grunt would have helped you out with having bad edges.

When you made the comparison to the 18V was it the older brushed version or new brushless that costs $100 more?

Can you cut a wider boarder out

Red3600 broken now can stop the blade with light touch of finger,

I'd love to see what you guys reckon of the EGO range in comparison. I'm very interested in the Ryobi 36V range as I'm up for a new lawn mower (was very interested in the Ryobi x2 36V that draw at the same time making it 72V on power mode) and this edger and the 40cm line trimmer, vs the EGO equiv. Or do you only do Ryobi reviews?

It is, it is exactly the same thing. It is just rounded up in the US to sound more / larger number. Similar to what EGO does says 56V and Greenworks says 60V lol
