The perfect review. I have have been looking at getting this blower and could't find a suitable review until I came across your review. Thank you very much. This has helped me finalise my decision. I have chosen not to buy this blower. It looks very weak for its price and I wasn't happy with its performance at all. Have decided to go for the Ryobi 36V HP Brushless 730CFM Blower instead. Yes its an additional $200 but hoping I wont need another blower for the next 10 years.

Good call on going with that blower! I wish I would have gone with that one too when doing my warranty replacement. At least Ryobi warranty is decent. Thanks for the comment. :)

A more pricey but EGO Blowers are outstanding. Battery life always an issue but never going back to petrol blowers. Ryobi ok for domestic use but lacks power going by your demonstration. 👍

Yeah, EGO tools are amazing. Pricey but extremely good. I only muck around with these Ryobi ones because I keep taking them back for a warranty replacement.

I believe that Ryobi is owned by Milwaukie

Yes, both are owned by Techtronic Industries in Hong Kong, but there is a vast difference in quality between the products. That goes for many of our tool companies. They all make their tools in similar factories and line ups, but there is a major difference in quality and these are reflected often in the price. End of the day, buy what you can afford and are internally satisfied with.

Just My Opinion But, I Would Send It Back. No Whisper And No Power. Me Personally, I Do Not Like Any Battery Powered Tool, All Mine Have A Cord, Except My New Battery Powered Mini Chain Saw, But I Killed Both Batteries in under A Hour And I Have Not Used It Since.

Agreed... Definitely not whisper quiet. However I just keep replacing them for free under their warranty terms because they keep breaking down.

Sorry to say but a $5 plastic rake and a broom would be far better.
