Love your videos. I personally use "Tube Cut" by Gambler tubes. Very affordable and easy to work with. Brown filter tips and thin paper. Very reliable. The box is orange and black. They also come in 5 pack bundles. My favorite tobacco is Cherokee brand "Blue." It's a Virginia company and most if not all of the tobacco they use is Virginia or North Carolina grown. With no additives or preservatives. This is a plus for me being a Virginia native. It's all US made and they do not export. I end up with a cigarette similar to a Marlboro light. They offer several different blends if you want a fuller or lighter flavor. I use a Powermatic 3 electric roller. If you keep the hopper fluffed up you will get consistent cigarettes with a measured amount of tobacco. Very satisfied with this machine after starting with a Powermatic 2. I can roll 200 cigarettes in about an hour including using a finishing machine that trims the ends a bit and does a slight crimp to keep the tobacco consistently packed and tight. About $35 on Amazon. Greatest addition I ever added. I've been RYO for over three years. The cost for a carton of nice fresh cigs are under $10 each. And it's an easy process while watching TV or listening to the news. Storage can be easy. Check Amazon for humidity packs. They make them for the cannabis industry. They are small packs that keep relative humidity of a storage vessel at about 65%. They can be reused as well. Just rewet them with clean filtered or distilled water and you are all set. This "hobby" is a tremendous money saver. And you can tailor your tobacco and tube taste to your desired preference. And you get NO chemical additives or stale product. Roll a bunch and store them in a tupperware container. I usually do a couple of cartons at a time. Easy access and always fresh. I cough less. There is less odor. And I think I smoke less. This is not a healthy habit by any means. But it can be done safer and more pleasurably by RYO. I'll never go back. Thanks for all the tips. I hope my post helps as well. Happy smoking. And get a butt bag and stop littering.

I store my tobacco in an airtight plastic bin with a couple of 69% Boveda packs. The container holds a pound of tobacco and the humidity packs last a couple of years without needing to recharge/replace them.

Been ryo for 4 years now. After using one of those small Top style manual loaders, I tried 3 different electric ones. They all sucked. Jammed all the time. Went with a manual PowerMatic Mini and couldn't be happier. No more jams. Plus, since I'm very picky about my cigs, I bought a small gram scale and now make sure every smoke is between .9 to .95 g. Its awesome. I like Zen tubes because its the only brand that doesn't rip. I AM interested in Kashmir tubes, though. In addition, since the menthol/flavor ban in California did not include loose leaf, I can still have menthol.
