Well to be fair that fight was snooze fest , last night was a rollercoaster. All of Floyd’s best moments came in the 24/7 or All Access. By fight night it was a foregone conclusion he would jab and dodge his way to an easy win. The audience would file out semi silently into the MGM grand. It was kinda a wasted weekend. We just would go to see him lose and it never happened. But he didn’t ever really entertain the fans, he resented them on fight night. Almost like he could have KO’d Cotto and Marquez but he didn’t want us to see him so it.

@Frank Acosta early 2000’s I was a broke college kid, I’m 41 now and wish I could of gone, but I did stay up for all of them and as you know the view is always better on the TV, since sort of mid 2000’s I’ve been to many top fights, also had the privilege of having a security company and worked many big shows, a lot of big companies hire smaller security firms to cover the needed quantity but personally always preferred watching them on TV, I’m hoping Canelo fights in September as I plan on going, wanted go in May but got too much work on

That’s because he thought he could fight that way but realized he didn’t have that kind of toughness and chin to do it. And Haney isn’t as great as everyone hyped him up to be. But you see styles make fights and Haney tried to match Ryan with that toe to toe and failed embarrassingly.

Not even close. Say what you want about De La Hoya, but he's considered one of the greats in boxing. He was a six-division champ, which is second to pacquiao's eight divisions. He also fought a lot of legends. Ryan, on the other hand, has never even won one championship.

Well to be fair that fight was snooze fest , last night was a rollercoaster. All of Floyd’s best moments came in the 24/7 or All Access. By fight night it was a foregone conclusion he would jab and dodge his way to an easy win. The audience would file out semi silently into the MGM grand. It was kinda a wasted weekend. We just would go to see him lose and it never happened. But he didn’t ever really entertain the fans, he resented them on fight night. Almost like he could have KO’d Cotto and Marquez but he didn’t want us to see him so it.

@Frank Acosta early 2000’s I was a broke college kid, I’m 41 now and wish I could of gone, but I did stay up for all of them and as you know the view is always better on the TV, since sort of mid 2000’s I’ve been to many top fights, also had the privilege of having a security company and worked many big shows, a lot of big companies hire smaller security firms to cover the needed quantity but personally always preferred watching them on TV, I’m hoping Canelo fights in September as I plan on going, wanted go in May but got too much work on

The only way Ryan gets to that level is if he truly improves beyond where he is now. If he gets to a level where he is able to co-main event with a guy like Anthony Joshua, he will push the envelope and then he can become bigger than Floyd. However, it'll be hard to get more fans/haters than Floyd. The man said it best, "You can go ahead and pay to see me win ot lose, I'll be paid and I'll still win."
