The commentary on Neon Demon w/ NWR and Elle is one of the funniest things I've ever heard. :) they obviously really like each other.

I am forever in awe of how on the edge he is....He does not care what you think, and enjoys pushing you. That applies both in his work and in person

my god, these three are hysterical. i had to keep pausing the video because i couldn't hear them speak over my own laughter. the relationship between ryan and nic is...strange, but beautiful lol. elle held her own and demonstrated an awareness and eloquence not often found in one so young. altogether a perfect panel, each of them quite clever in their own way. the audience, however, is trash. the first few outbursts were sort of funny, but from there it just turns obnoxious and disruptive.

"outburst" and "laughter" are not synonymous. i enjoy hearing people laugh, and this was hilarious so laughter is an appropriate response. i was referring to people shouting things and saying whatever popped into their heads as loudly as possible. i don't know, i just find that disrespectful. it's also possible that i was in a "people are awful i hate everything" mood when i made my original comment lol. watching it now i find the audience doesn't bother me as much.

Só absurdo...

The look on Refn's face and his voice describing being behind the camera in the morgue, without a script and just asking Jena Malone (US of Leland) who also had no idea what would come into his brain, to kiss the X-rated actress, spit in her mouth, more saliva on her boobs. Then tells Ryan necrophilia is interesting (not physically he is careful to catch himself.), and it makes him think of pretty 16-year-old girls and by the way, his daughters will be pretty teenagers. He really should consider doing another Ted Bundy biopic, because Ted loved killing pretty girls, having sex with their bodies, but I don't think he ever took up actual cannibalism, threw up any eyeballs or ate any eyeballs that had been thrown up, but he did bite one girl so hard it got him convicted. I find Refn to be truly disturbed and the idea that because he has a family and likes "Frozen" anyone and everyone in Hollywood will do literally anything he dreams up. And Elle Fanning turned 17 while filming. Is the X-rated actress in the credits or just an extra.

How much of waste of time was this? The obnoxioucity of the audience and Gosling. Refn answers quite as expected but the question was asked with way too much forced humor and and the audience just eats it up! Stupid stupid stupid.

This interview is crap. Its very awkward and I feel they were just goofing off for a long time until Elle gives a sensible answer point about beauty and narcism.

Nicolas refn is all about ideas, not about story. And that's dumb.
