Nini, I am 62 years of age, I have supported Chelsea since I was 8, 54 years! I cannot remember being as low as this in all those years. This is not a team that is and has been together in any way. Back in the day, my Chelsea were trying hard, win or lose, they won or lost together as a unit, as a team, and took the highs and lows together. This team are nothing like that, individuals are not what makes a team, the so called passion to win has not been there at all. Does it matter if we win or lose to our players? Not in my eyes. I am so disappointed by this loss. It’s not that we lost to Arsenal, they are an excellent side, but just look at the passion they have, look at the players playing for the club, the fans and most of all for each other! A club is made up of the highest to the lowest, from the newest fan to the owners! They are what a club is, but Chelsea are so far away from this, I doubt I will ever again see my Chelsea get close to what would be classed as a team worth my support, I will be a long time dead before they even understand what passion our fans have for this club. They are letting us down, themselves down and the meaning of what it is to be a Chelsea player.

Wow! Niinii going after Mudryk but no mention of a really poor Gallagher. Mudryk is lacking maturity for sure but can you blame him? After he made several attacking runs and no one played him on or tried to pass to him, he lost interest. Not excusing him at all but that petulant behavior is the same thing that we saw from Madueke. There was NO link up play from the middle so all three attackers were isolated and easy pickings for Saliba and Gabriel. Someone please tell me what Conor contributed to the team today other than getting his marathon miles in? Watch the game again and see how many times CG was in the midfield but NOT expecting a pass to come to him and ended up losing the ball. The dude was hiding behind Arsenal players a lot and not offering himself up to receive the ball once he started getting pressed quickly. WHY is he in the #10 position? WHY? He was running around out of touch with the game and out of position constantly which left huge gaps for Partey and Rice to exploit (and overwhelm Caicedo... AGAIN and AGAIN). This is not a CG bash. I LOVE Gallagher's industry and passion but it's been clear all year that he doesn't have the technical ability or football IQ to play the 10. He doesn't have the ability to turn with the ball and dribble or even just offer a decent shooting option. He's only good against lower opposition or when you already have the lead and need a "bull" to close out the game because he will HUSTLE. I think he played better in the double pivot with Caicedo because he didn't have the responsibility of dictating the pace or flow of the game; he could sit back and run around while Caicedo moved forward. I actually feel for CG because he's a good squad player but not a starting #10 or #8. He will end up getting a lot of backlash from fans when Poch is just a terrible manager! Where was the creativity or speed in transition or attack today? You're playing a youthful and fast Arsenal in front of their home crowd and they're chasing the title. They don't sit behind the ball like Everton; they attack aggressively and probe. Did Poch not gameplan or watch ANY Arsenal game? What did he expect? Every set piece looked like an imminent goal and we never adjusted to the same move; that's bad coaching! Why is Badiashile still playing? Why bring on defenders when we're already down 3-0 and chasing the game? If Jackson wasn't working up top, why not give some good minutes to one of the hungry youngsters like TG, Whisper Richards or Washington? The team looked like they did not want to play today. I think they've given up on Poch's useless management. Palmer wasn't there to put a bandaid over Poch's deficiencies. It shows how a quality player "in the right position" can change the effect of the whole team and game. This game was screaming for Chukwemeka in the 10. You know... Potter was terrible but he actually had a system or identity. Poch has just been riding heavily on Cole Palmer's coat tails.

I think you put a lot of good effort into your analysis and breaking down the game, but maybe you rushed this one. Your post-game analysis was heavy on slating Mudryk but made no mention of the impact of Gallagher's poor play. Especially since CG's #10 position, captaincy and leadership are supposed to be essential to the team function. I would argue that the poor play from Conor had a greater impact on the mess we saw from Chelsea yesterday than anything Mudryk did. In fact, after I watched the game again, I saw Mudryk actually participate in defensive clearances and starting very decent attacks. One promising attack that was even stifled because CG intercepted a threaded pass for Jackson/Madueke and then passed the ball backwards. CG is not an awful player but he had a very bad game. He's not a #10 and Poch is a horrible manager for forcing the guy into this position. Like I stated before, I'm not here to defend the immature behavior of Mudryk, Jackson or Madueke. They should all be taken to task as well but let's not put blinders on. Gallagher was poor and looks out of his element as a #10.

We are all embarrassed. Lampard said when he came in last season the players had mentally gone well they were mentally gone tonight. Rice was better than our midfield on his own. Yea I completely agree. Mudryc’s positioning is off and he can’t defend. He leaves gap for oppositions to get in easily. Saw this since pre season after he was subbed in for Nkuku after his injury. The difference was clear as the game changed significantly afterwards.

if as a team they are not collectively working it is the fault of the manager , we should sack him no chemistry with gallagher coicedo and enzo and yet that fool keeps on doing the same thing expecting different results he should be sacked immediately, coicedo is better than this these players are better than this

You can blame the Board and the Directors all you want - and yes they are culpable to a degree - but ONE man is responsible for getting the best of the players here now. That man is Pochettino and he has no authority or respect in that dressing room.

Dont scapegoat mudryk. He played better passes than Gallagher who was misplacing every pass or putting other players under pressure. Poch is not an intelligent coach. 1. Playing Gallagher behind the striker failed all season. Playing Caicedo and Enzo in double pivot failed all season. Playing Gallagher with Caicedo worked well, he throws it out the door. I think the problem with the SDs is that neither of them had experience at that level. They're recruitment guys, transactional, not strategic. So they're just executing the owners ideas, which are based on US sports models. Which are different. We need an SD (1, not joint) who formulates / argues the strategy with the owners. We haven't got that. It's the 1st thing Ratcliffe is doing....

It feels horrible right now but if we have all our players back from injury next season and a new manager that knows how to motivate and coach, i think we'll be okay.
