It’s exactly what we’ve missed. Jorgi and rice are great in the 6 but play a lot slower progressive football, partey has an eye for that line splitting pass and like you say, really speeds up our transition to attack and gives our attackers much more time to unsettle the opposition defence

Partey has been poor in all of his cameos so far this season, thought he was so sloppy with the ball in previous games. Showed a really good improvement yesterday, just hope he can be consistent.

I didn´t like the too many back passes though! Those back passes could be very dangerous for any other team with a quick physical player! Remember Tomiyasu blunder and KDB scored against us! Maybe he´s already judged his moves and control as per the opponent and no problem to worry about...... He did take control of the midfield nonetheless

General Partey in the middle. Boy have we missed him.

The narrative might be how bad Chelsea were last night but for me it was more about how GOOD Arsenal were. This was Arsenal in full flow & was a joy to watch. The first half felt like 15 minutes it was that good.

Partey being back to his best is huge at this stage of the season. The midfield was electric. Didn’t put a foot wrong

Partey was too laxed at times and gave the ball away too easily several times last night. Wasn't a perfect performance, but I think this midfield three is the best midfield line up for Arsenal. Partey's physical attributes add more presence in Arsenal's midfield, making them harder to get bullied by their opponents.

The way Havertz has transformed has been very satisfying to watch. To be clear, I've never been on Havertz's back. I understood that it would take some time to wash the Chelsea trauma off him and for him to flourish. Some fans were quite unfair towards him, as were rival fans too. It's so good to see him prove them wrong. He's never gonna be pleasing on the eye, but you can't deny the man has a very specific skillset that does bolster our attack.

Arsenal certainly have the most difficult set of games left but they clearly have the capability and momentum and motivation to win the remaining fixtures. And there are potential games where City could draw. And that's all it would take. It's that fine a margin. And why the run in is so thrilling. #COYG

First half it could have been 2-2, Chelsea had chances but they did that against city too. 2nd half Arsenal killed them off.... Jackson should have been sent off for that tackle but things were evened up when Gab fouled a Chelsea player which lead to a goal

Declan Rice was a MARAUDER this match. It actually makes Arteta look worse as this is the lineup that should’ve faced Bayern. He now wants to play Partey and Rice? We’ve been calling for this since he’s been back from injury.

I think Arsenal looked like the Arsenal of last season: wonderful free flowing football but with a nervy defense. It could easily have been 3-1 to Chelsea by halftime. It could also have been 10-0 to Arsenal by fulltime. But I'm happy it went to Arsenal's favor!

@@TheDjSweets I'm commenting in good faith, since I am an Arsenal supporter. I'm talking specifically about our defense against Chelsea. It was unlike our defense in our previous games. For some reason, we were giving up more chances to the Chelsea than even against Villa and Bayern. Watkins and the Villa attack would've probably put away those chances Chelsea had. I wish we could have the best of both worlds with an attack as free-flowing as against Chelsea and a defence as good as the first halves against Bayern & Villa.
