Using Zinchenko as a midfielder is a no brainer to me, people are quick to forget how good he was in his first season where he basically played as a CM when we had possession he plays cm for ukraine and was a cm before pep moved him to an inverted LB that role has the same duties as a CM except you tuck into left back when defending (which is zini’s weakness) when he’s on the ball in the midfield is him at his best, he should be moved there and we should sign a proper left back, as we’ve lost elneny and probably partey, ESR and maybe vieira, only leaving us with odegaard, jorginho, rice and havertz. we’ll end up signing a new cm but i think he’s perfect cover for that left 8 edit: before anyone says he can’t play cm in the prem as it’s different, again he basically plays there when we have the ball, and that way his defensive frailties are covered, also he’s probably our second best technician in the squad after odegaard so he has the tools

He absolutely balls as an 8/10 for Ukraine. I know it’s international football, not club. But I just don’t understand why Mikel is so resistant to tying it. We’d gain all his technical skills in midfield without the defensive liability of him trying to defend out wide. 🤷‍♂️

Kivior is a perfect squad player for us right now he’s young. We’ve already seen his development over the past year and he can play in multiple roles on the back line. Really hope we don’t get rid of him.

For me, Zinchenko shouldn't be anywhere near the defensive line, I think he should be a 10. There's a talent in there, but it hasn't been unlocked, in my opinion. Xhaka was a perfect example. When he moved away from the 6 role, the transformation was incredible. I say Zinchenko should stay.

The debate about Zinchenko has been settled before by Arteta. Arteta said Zinchenko helps in the 2nd phase of play from his inverted position, he is good with the game in front of him. The way Arsenal plays, you need a left 8 who is good in transition control, which is not Zinchenkos strong point, he gets overrun in this position, the way Arsenal plays. But for Ukraine it works because they have two holding midfielders.

We should capitalise on Zinchenko’s experience in the midfield area and get Onana as a back up for Partey. Also must get Olise or Kudus as a competition for Saka. Tierney should be brought back in the squad as a competitor for Tomiyasu on the left.

I really want Sesko. He's so good shooting with both feet and has unlimited potential. We need a hard as nails bruiser for a DM. If rumors about Zinny getting unsettled that fast after losing his starting spot in the last month then let him go hes not a team guy.

Zinchenko shd be moved up to kind of Xhaka role now that Havertz is playing cf / striker. I feel he has the creativity and positional sense and he need not worry about tracking back as much . Plus since he has already played at lb he can show some def stability in midfield as well

The defence hasn’t been the problem and we have a lot of versatile players. Move Zini to midfield. We have Tomiyasu who can play CB very well, Ben White too. I don’t think we need a CB. Left back yes. I would really just focus on the attacking positions. Btw i would keep Reiss Nelson. Maybe a loan but definitely keep.

I have bad feeling about Sesko signing. It takes it long and Chelsea are also in it. I think the problem is we cant get any "buget" option on good complete midfielder. I wonder if the priority target is actualy CM and not CF. If we cant get the likes of Zubimendi for around 50m then only more expensive options up to 100m remain. In this case we cant give 60m for Sesko so early in the market. We should sell players first and his release clause ends at the end of the month. I have a feeling that cheaper midfilder or any kind of sell is the condition for Sesko.

Zinchenko is a midfielder, he lacks the pace and the ability to defend at left back. At the other hand he is very good on the ball and is very creative. He plays there for Ukraine.

The other day there were rumours that we are going to buy his fellow countrymate from Girona, who, I admit, is superb (it's said Mikel loves him!). However, he is no better than Zinchenko; in fact they are very similar so why sell him? He is undoubtedly an outstanding, technically gifted (a typical Arsenal player) and really loving the club. We should keep him.

Sesko ain’t making up his mind till next month. If he’s smart he will come to a team with CL, a proper structure and a team that treats everybody as a family. he knows that arsenal is a proper move & fit but if he stays at this present club then all the best to him

We can't make the mistake of chasing one player all season. Zinchenko should definitely be pushed into midfield.

The best thing about these transfer rumours is that no one got a clue who we are really interested to sign now. Since Arteta is on record saying only quality would walk in through the door its easy to dismiss most of these daily digest of rumours as just that.

We had over 100 goals last season so goals are not so much our issue but in this next season were we must we need the same consistency in all positions fro last season and no drop of but in the DM position straight from the onset we have a drop off simply but reason of Jorginho adding one more year to his age and like it or not will not be the same player he was last year which was not our ideal level cause we all couldn’t wait for TP to return and again that’s only 4months max from TP

If teams are buying players,that the time Robbie will be saying those amount are too heavy,now their is no cheap player in the market.

Zinchenko has been a bit of a liability. It wouldn't be a terrible idea to move him into a midfield position, but I don't see him getting regular matches given the players Arsenal have in midfield. Arsenal have to focus on replacing any good players they let go, like Ramsdale if he leaves, and strengthen at the same time -- which is not going to be easy and I fear disappointment at the end of the transfer window, but remain hopeful.
