Southgate's style means more back passes than progessing the ball.

He is definetly, the best revelation in England this season. Next is CPalmer.

Kane played exactly the right pass .... it was Palmer who played the wrong shot! Mainoo wouldn't have reached the pass if he'd been played through, because two Slovenians were nearby.

Kane knew Mainoo wasn't gonna reach any pass because two Slovenian players were in front, so he played a good ball to Palmer who unfortunately then MISSED Englands best chance of the game!

No one is saying it but Harry Kane has been awful for England. I understand Rashford was left out due to his Man Utd form but international football isn’t the same as PL football. Big mistake by southgate for not bringing rashford and grealish. Both player able to bring the ball to the penalty box on their own, the ability that is very important to beat low line defend.

1:56 more like you lack the vision. 😂 yes a midfielder attributes require vision but he has composure which is much more needed since he’s not a number 10. The reason why Trent struggled at midfield is because he lacks composure to suit in the mid when he gets pressed but he has vision and accuracy to create chances. He is not a wingback never will be.
