More reason I think Poch should be fired. He's not dynamic at problem-solving. His tactics are too player-dependent. That's why the injuries exposed him. De Zerbi and Howe dealt with lots of injuries too. Especially that the former had to resort to using kids too.

It’s not outdated one but. How many times were we actually outclassed all season? Most of our games were actually winnable with a developed striker up top. No manager is coming to save us. That is the reality. The squad is too young and inexperienced yet Poch was able to get significant performances out of them. Let us no forget that it was half a squad for three quarters of the season. Let the man cook. We cannot afford to start over.

His tactics are terrible. Yes we could have won games but we could also have lost any of them. We are never in control and the chances we give up are big ones. We have conceded the most goals in our history there is a reason for that. You can blame players or commitment but when one or two players under perform it’s the players, when the whole team struggle bar a few it’s the coach and tactics.

Attacking players also dont help at defence at all. I wouldnt sack him if there isnt better choices available. But the midfield problems are not because of Jackson...

Then what? Have the same problem with the next manager. I want to see senior players in to help show consistency, standards, leadership and especially winning mentality. Players and managers are good, but using common sense being involved with the game you can see the fundamentals that are needed. That’s not sacking the management at this stage. Poch won’t be there forever, he is there to settle the squad to resemble a team. Once that is achieved I’m sure when the right winning manager is available we move for them. But to just sack Poch without context of who can fix this mess is just silly. Mourinho and Conte will ruin these young fragile generation of players. I think Poch actually has the right personality for it, and tactics for the young players to express themselves. But things need to settle. Injuries are a major part of that. We need consistency of players picked in CB, CDM, CF and Keeper. The core needs to be set, it needs to be set by more experienced players to guide and coach the young potential superstars in game. Players need to be calm but committed when suffering out of possession in a deep block as an example, that’s what experience will give you.

People who are still backing Poch just don't get how bad he is for these crop of players we have. Pochettino will instill them with his weak, loser mentality. Can you imagine players fighting over penalties on 3 occasions in one season? That alone is a sackable offense

What I don’t get is this.. if that injury is affecting Enzo performances why is poch playing him anyway he doesn’t make the team better with that injury and it’s not like he doesn’t have any other options. He could easily drop Gallagher deeper and play carney or Palmer in the 10. It’s just baffling.

I definitely believe the coach has to go. There needs to be an actual plan and a style of playing in order for the team to be effective and so the kids would learn. You can get that in a better coach that has a good tactical mind.

Im still Bottlettino out. It's his in game management that has cost us games. Caesidi was recalled from loan for what reason? And he was very impactful on loan. He has Chukwuemeka even with his cameo in one of the games weeks ago. His link up with Madueke was unreal. Then as for defenders Silva and Chalobah are on form as a pair. Why didnt he start them against Arsenal? Sterling experience despite poor form he should have started against Man City or at least against Arsenal. Bottlettino needs to take accountability for his poor decision-making

I’m so torn. As a person, I get not wanting to change your gaffer. You need continuity. Glad enzo is having surgery, gets him back to fitness, hopefully he can find some good form with his national team. I know people are down on poch but i think it's always good when the players back the manager. Morale is crucial for young players.

It's really unfortunate that we are now thinking and speaking like a mid-table team. What's the meaning of letting Pouch stay next season , listening to these comfortable players with an inferiority complex? Bring in a serious manager and this team will sit up, Pouch will take us no where, he just doesn't have it for the level Chelsea desires, no matter the players he gets.

I would actually tend to agree, everyone wanted Poch out after the Arsenal game but it’s not long ago that we hammered Everton, we’ve also made it to 1 cup final and the FA cup semi final ( and we were robbed of a penalty in that game )plus the amount of excellent players we’ve brought that have long term injuries, very hard to judge Poch when we have so many injuries and we were told at the start that this would be a process that would take time so I wouldn’t be against Poch getting another season and hopefully we can get all our players fit and then we can judge him

Though his decision making has been questionable at times, I do think that Pochettino should be kept for next season... The team has improved from last season, in goals and overall play... Sacking him now to get someone else just hits the reset button and the team will be more inconsistent, while trying to learn a new way of playing under a new manager.

I don't doubt that poch is a coach that could eventually get us into top 4 at some point.. but i don't think this squad compliments his style and ideas therefore we need to find a proper ball playing manager for this team if we gonna get ourselves back to the top quicker..

Funniest thing is he was never the right appointment to begin with & even worse is he should have been sacked literally months ago. And to top it off I think our current owners will actually stick with him because they haven't got a clue what they are doing.

For me Poch has done a few good things. Poch has brought everybody together, Chelsea feels like a family again, I am not talking about players only, but the backroom staff to your directors. But on the same token Poch hasn't been good coaching wise, tactical awareness.

Also if the players want Bottlettino to stay then they better show it on the pitch. Because results matter. They are at a prestigious club. There is no time for oh they are young.

Poch wasn't using Nkunku even when he was available. You forgot he had him on the bench more than he had him on the field. Carney is another talent being wasted the same way. So..yeah.

I understand the injuries, the inexperience of the team, and the fact they like Poch but, I also fully believe our squad is good enough to be *comfortably* between 4-6. Only a manager with tactics more suited to the squad will change that… that isn’t Poch even tho he isn’t a bad manager at all.

A lot of coaches had injuries but we are the only ones making excuses about them. Poor recruitment? Poch didn’t even play Ian mattsen this year and look how good he’s doing. He fails to play his young players and whine about. He barely even played Case since he came from loan. It’s a reason why everybody is hurt too including Lavia (who never missed any serious time)

This “most of the players” talk truly irritates me. What we need: Two Sporting Directors - Gone Over Priced Players - Gone Medical team - Dispose them! (I haven't seen some key players fit in Chelsea for years) Poch - Get him out Loan/ Sell - Children we won't incorporate into the senior team.

So who is held accountable for that embarrassing debacle? Where is the transparency and accountability? If not the players, then what? Flu, stress, pain, injury, wrong strategy and preparation? When the floodgates opened early in the second half, why no changes for the multitude of players evidently struggling to execute? Why wait till the 80 - 88 min? Why not close shop after 2 goals and obviously no clue how to defend or keep possession? Forget trying to score. Some things were way off base!
