Rusty Antique Strapping Tensioner Tool - Restoration
In this video I'm restoring an Antique Strapping Tensioner Tool.I bought this tool from flea market some time ago. This strapping tensioner is very rust and some parts are jammed due to rust.
I thought this strapping tensioner should be restored now. I began the restoration by disassembling the tool. After separating all parts applied electrolysis process to remove rust from all parts.Painted the part of the tool that was to be painted and buffed the parts that were going to be buffed and hot bluing the parts that were going to be bluing. And assembled after cleaning all parts of the strapping tensioner.
Work I do in the video and what I use . If you want to ask any question, please ask in the comment section. I read everyone's comments and try to answer.

After heating, spray WD-40 on this part of the tool. WD-40 is then sprayed to loosen the rust on these parts.

You might want to re-consider the use of the word Antique, since it clearly isn't. Perhaps "Rusty old", would be a suitable alternate.
