@@TutahnAmon , In my younger days here in America I was never afraid to speak my mind against injustice. Slightly before my time, millions of people protested against the Vietnam war, and before that there was the civil rights era protests, where people were beaten, jailed and sometimes killed for advocating for justice. Every new generation of young people here in America is almost hardwired to question, or perhaps reject, the way things were done in the past and the way things are now,, and to speak out for themselves. Surely this isn't just a hallmark of youth in America, but of youth everywhere ? I get that, after living for decades under repression, old people in Russia might finally consider themselves able or even dutybound to speak freely because at this point they have little left to lose and are thinking about their legacy, but are young people in Russia that much more conservative than they are here in the US or Europe, that much more afraid to speak out and challenge the established order, the power structure of the government? Or are they being seduced by internet influencers and pitchmen and the prospect of "happiness" in the form of shiny baubles being delivered to them via more capitalism?

Approval ratings and other statistics can never be fully trusted when the people being asked risk repercussions. For example, according to the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, about 99,5% of Iranians are Shia muslims. However when GAMAAN conducted their own poll on the internet where responders could answer completely anonymously, the figure they got was 37%. Now I can't be certain which figure is closer to the truth but I have seen numerous Iranians on the internet saying the 37% figure is most definitely accurate and that most people there don't even like Islam. I don't know how Levada Center conducted their polls but if it was done over the phone, door-to-door or by asking people on the street, I'm actually surprised their figure isn't higher than 83%

I think the good thing about NZ - is you get a passport - you are now a Kiwi - Every immigrant wants to fit in - there is no little Russia, Korea , Turkey enclaves where they solely speak own language and don't learn English - - you can enjoy your home culture as well and continue speaking Russian , Tongan , display your flag/culture -Sure we have some silly small minded people , Like all immigrants in most countries you will have the odd day - you feel you don't belong - but as I said once you have the passport you are a Kiwi - Plus if your country you come from allows it you can have dual or even triple nationality . The other advantage of having a Kiwi passport is when you travel - no one dislikes you for your country - which is true of many other countries - However no matter you nationality if you travel with a good heart , you will have few problems - I met very nice people in Russia when travelled their in 94 and 97 - so sad what is happening at moment - Eventually things will change - and Russian Society as a collective will mature and that's a win win for everyone - We in NZ had not exactly a great colonial past - suppression of Maori Culture, Overt racism to Chinese immigrants etc - intolerance to people who were different or just paternalistic smugness that came from settlers from the Old World

@@nimblegoat Hear hear, touché and all well said.🤗I can tell when mainland chinese are obviously new here. They are habitually cautious, closed, not responding to a friendly Kiwi greeting in the street (because one just doesn't normally interact like this over there (in the mega-cities) in case of scams or legal action). But you can see the ones who have been here a little longer: They greet you back with gusto, they smile back at you and I think they realise this is *a* reason why they moved down here. And they are welcome here. Everyone's the same here. We use first names and have ditched honourifics. If the second person *singular* pronoun thou (and thee) had remained in colloquial use in modern standard englishes instead of becoming archaic then I believe we Kiwis would be thouing each other constantly no matter who with no offense taken because we really do not have any social betters here to have to you at. We are so lucky to live here in Godzone yet I think a lot of Kiwis might not realise this until they go travelling on their OEs. 💙

I was in Norway. The local climate seemed very pleasant to me. It was summer and it was not hot, but quite fresh and pleasant. And I just don't like the heat. Oslo turned out to be a small cozy city. Very few cars. Many people ride bicycles. Almost no tall buildings. From the roof of the ten-story hostel where I stayed, I could see the entire city. A big contrast compared to Moscow. But this is not surprising. There are twice as many people in Moscow as in the whole of Norway. There is also a very beautiful memorial cemetery in the city. And people walk there like in a park. And a very clean mountain river with very cold water flows through the city. There are also a lot of beautiful graffiti in the city and people with tattoos are often found. And the Norwegians have very beautiful wheat-colored hair.

In our country, many people are afraid of psychologists and psychiatrists, even other medical workers, because there is a fear of running into a layman, a charlatan or getting registered or getting a bad stamp in documents. It is not doubtful whether those who want to receive paid assistance and there are quite a few of them. I believe that every second person on earth has some kind of psychic phenomenon.

There is an old saying that the grass is always somewhere else. However old sayings don't always represent with fidelity people's motives, and ideals. I liked all the answers and including Russia. There is really no wrong answer it seems to be an innate nature in humans to both say put and to move away to explore, to learn, to love, share, and care for each other. The World is big and small at the same time where people minds explore remotely frequently their bodies not wanting to be left out want to transport its senses to the actual place to have that experience. It our nature. Thanks this one of my favorite channels.

Hello foreigners. I'm from Russia, city Yaroslavl. I am very, very pleased to read your comments about how you visited my homeland, how you admire my cohabitants and our culture. What a relief I felt when I realized that the worldwide label of "aggressors" is just a myth. We are not really hated by Europe, Europe hates our government and quite rightly feels this hatred. But one thing must be remembered, politics is a dirty thing that tries to worsen relations between us. Our entire planet is united by one thing - we are all peoples, we are all the same, despite health problems, race, nationality, we are all peoples, whatever one may say. Russia is waiting for you! 🇷🇺❤😊

I’m surprised about how different people think about life in other countries. For Russians in this video and in general for east European countries the most beautiful places are those where you gain the most (north Europe and Canada). If you ask the same question to west European countries people would answer looking for totally different aspects of life, for example climate, way of living, culture etc.

To my fellow Indians, I hope you understand why India was not named by anyone in this video. It's because the reason they mentioned, for eg., cleanliness in Japan, better standard of living in scandinavian countries etc., are absent in India. Some might say "we don't care what others think about India", but heart of hearts we all do what others think of our country. If you ask 1000 random people which country they'd like to live in other than their own, it'd be a surprise if more than 10 names India.
