1/4 cup (80 grams) honey
1/2 cup (100 grams) sugar
7.5 Tbsp (100 grams) unsalted butter
1 tsp baking soda
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups (180-200 grams) all-purpose flour
Sour Cream Frosting:
1 cup (240 grams) heavy cream (cold)
1/3 cup (67 grams) sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
10oz (306 grams) sour cream

Did you slice the cake layer in half to get 6 layers or did you bake two separate sheets?

I baked two separate sheets and divided each sheet into 3 halves. It turned out 6 layers.

You cut the dough into 3 parts out of the oven? How did you end up with 6 slabs of dough when you put the cake together??

I divided the dough into 2 parts, then I baked one part, then I divided it into 3 parts.
Can margarine be used instead of butter?
