Russian Guy Speaks Fluent Chinese and Korean in Korea

How's it going guys, Victor here!
I recently visited the Jeju Island in South Korea with my Korean girlfriend (check out our latest vlog on the trip here btw - • Jeju Island Trip: Part... ).
During the trip I continued challenging my Chinese and Korean skills, and went to a local Korean food market where I had a chance to practice Korean with native Korean speakers but there were also some Chinese shops there with native Chinese speakers, and I talked to them as well. Needless to say, they were really surprised to find out how good my Chinese was!
Check out the video and if you're learning Chinese or Korean, try to watch it without the subtitles! This is real life speech and real "living" examples of both of these languages - something that's not that easy to find since most of the Chinese and Korean textbooks honestly have pretty garbage dialogues and vocabulary that's hardly anyone uses in real life.
There was also Pride Crap there... Let's see if you can spot it. And no, don't ask me what the hell those shop owners were thinking.
I hope this video will be helpful for you and if you enjoy it, don't forget to hit that like button and subscribe to the channel for more content on how to learn Chinese, Korean and other languages, as well as travel vlogs in Korea and other stuff as well! See you around!

Victor that made me cry, I hope you keep in touch with them in some small way, you can see they were very moved by the experience of seeing someone with a relationship to Harbin, and from the small amount that he says I imagine the man working at the stall has experienced quite an interesting life.

Hell ya! I don't speak a lick of Chinese, Korean, or even Russia for that matter.. I'm native English but have been learning French for 2.5 years now, I'm happy to say that people like yourself have allowed me to see and now regularly experience the joy of connecting with someone in their native tongue -- and surprising them with it too! Keep up the grind et bonne chance ;)

Man, this guy is so entertaining! I’ve been binging his videos!
So glad I found your YT channel! Watching these videos makes me wanna focus more on learning korean. I m romanian, in school I've studied english, french, italian and latin. But the lack of practice made me forget almost everything, except for english. I ve started to learn korean 2 months ago and I m so excited about it. Also I just wanna grab my old books and re-learn those languages I've ignored all these years.
This was super cool! I hope to see more from your channel in the future!!

I know this might be old, but great video! My grandparents from one side are from Vladivostok, I lived there for a bit. Dads from Siberia, but then lived in pyatigorsk during my young years before moving to NYC. Great to see people from the same areas venturing out and having a good life. Strangely enough, always wanted to learn Korean along with getting my native tongue developed as well. Keep up the awesome videos Victor!
