Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov - BBC HARDtalk rushes

** This is the full and unedited interview with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov speaking exclusively to HARDtalk's Stephen Sackur in Moscow 16th April 2018. **
In recent days the world has been alarmed by the very real possibility of a direct military confrontation between the United States and Russia. Syria is of course where the current tensions are highest, and where missiles have been fired, but the hostility is deep-seated on a number of fronts. We’ve had diplomatic expulsions, sanctions, there’s talk of a new cold war. What is Russia’s next move?

In Russia we know the British as very courteous and cultured people who will not say bad things about a person, even if it's true. In the past, I have lived in Britain for many years and I can say with certainty that the British are the top of the correctness. In any case, it was like that before. When Lawrow tried to explain why the purity of the Novichok was a problem (because it deteriorates rapidly) he was cut off 2 times by Sackur. In general: this was not asking tough questions looking for valid answers, which would be good journalism, but rather acting rude trying to please Sackurs superiours including the political commissars of GB. Lawrow did well and stayed calm. I think the british (and US and french) position is as laughable as it is dangerous. Acting this way GB will lead us into WW3. You don´t need us, the germans, to become idiotic warmongers, as was claimed during all my years of existance, even in history lessons at my highschool and university. Thanks for clarifying that. I was deeply ashamed of the way that one of the most important politicians in the world was spoken to in this interview. No manners, no professionalism as a journalist, endless british propaganda trotted out as truth, in a revolting arrogant tone. I would believe Sergey Lavrov or Mr. Putin and day of the week above May or the dreaded Boris. I was a tory in the days of McMillan, Heath, Butler and others who were worthy of the name "leading politician". With any of the present crew, I have nothing but contempt and shame that this country has sunk so low.

We as a country as long as we stand side by side with the US have and will loose any credibility we have left in the world. Is truly amazing how unaware “our” supposed Free Press and there government minders are. After Iraq/Afghanistan the internet made it impossible to get away with same propaganda they had used before but they still pretend it’s the people (vast majority of ppl know both our government here in US and there in Uk are the liars, just look at our elections which supposed political parties were forced to step in a rig the primary to keep the people from getting a say. We didn’t get Trump bc ppl believe him, we chose him to show the corrupt deep state and corporate owners that we don’t believe you anymore. Wanna try and force us to pick your candidate by putting worst person available as only other choice? Fine, we choose the terrible guy now try and spin that with your propaganda media! Only reason Joe Biden got elected was bc they shut our entire country down just as Bernie swept out Primary and magically Joe Biden (by far the least popular candidate ever) starts winning mail in and states where polls show him losing to Bernie by double digits literally the week before the election. If you think Joe Biden won the Primary or that entire American electorate didn’t know they rigged the primaries again then you are too dumb to vote. Even the exit polls showed that VAST majority chose Bernie All that and Biden still barely won (and even those of us on the left have to admit something fishy happened in the election polls) not too mention how the corporate NeoCons were able to completely censor our decidedly un FreePress US and Uk are the bad guys at this point and only people who pretend not to know are above 65 and hopefully will die off sooner than later.

An OPCW technician at the scene stated " there was no gas attack and only natural trace elements of chlorine were found in the soil".. A doctor stated the photos taken by the " White Helmets were of people suffering from a dust caused asphyxiation from cowering in their tunnels under their houses. There was no one with symptoms of a gas attack This was told in the hospital at Douma to a Mr. Roberts , a British journalist that won awards for middle east war reporting 7 years in total

I don't care if Lavrov is Russian or not, he is an incredibly good diplomat and extremely professional each time I've heard him speak, he also has a great sense of humour (look up his CNN clip about pussy riot). If all countries had politicians like this guy instead of puppets we'd be in a much better world.
