My grandad had an cousin that was born the same year and people couldn't tell them apart because they looked and sounded alike. And his Cousin was a preacher and when ever he wanted to go fishing or on vacation. My grandfather would preach the Sunday sermon and everything. And no one knew it wasn't the Preacher. And when grandfather was drafted for WW2 his cousin stayed at his house helping his Aunt and Uncle run the Farm and because of that no one believed he was a Vet till his Military funeral.

When I was about 9 or 10, I made a friend laugh while we were eating pizza and drinking coke. It was right as he took a drink, and I wasn't really paying attention and he laughed so hard coke flew out of his nose followed by a tiny sausage from his last bite. I consider that a personal victory lol

"Who's thinking of themselves during a funeral?" Everyone is. That's what a funeral is. They call it saying goodbye, but really you are mourning the part of you that's inside the box. The part that you will never see again.

Jesus, dude. Did you just discover Black Veil Brides or some shit? What the fuck? "A funeral is mourning the part of you in the box?" How can you say that as if it’s something universal? Bereavement is so subjective, and there are so many other things to consider that change the way people deal with it. You can’t just say "everyone is" as if you have any real knowledge of every single person. No one does. And to say that people are not mourning their dead at a funeral but instead a "part of themselves" is such a stupid claim. I’d say that is an extremely self-centred view. Maybe there is some truth to people thinking of themselves, but it is not as if they are mourning for anyone besides the dead; and for any memories of themselves, they are in reflection of the past memories they have with the person they mourn for. I feel like your comment is one of those sayings that tries to come across as if it were wise or conveying great meaning, but in reality is just some quote from some goth IG page and missing so much context it loses any meaning

the virtual world is the virtual world, and whiles there virtually no difference there is one. the virtual world is a bridge to connect people and give you another place to escape from the world. you can be a hero, a villain, a fantasy warrior, or a sci-fi pirate. but you can never be better in the virtual world than you are in the real one because no matter who you choose to be in cyberspace all those avatars came from you. so live your life and let others live theirs because we don't have an ability to respawn, reload, or reset. so make your life the best one it can be first time round.
