Russell is so damn funny and quick. He kills me. His honesty is so refreshing, I love it.

He's still insanely attractive but i'm ngl this is my favourite era of Russell :') gorgeous haha

Since this we've seen a global economic collapse, America's first black President, the rise of China, widespread acceptance of same-sex marriage, Scotland almost left the UK, new threats emerging in Russia and the Middle East, Russell Brand got married and divorced, then became a Revolutionary! When you think about it, a lot has changed since you posted that comment 8 months ago.

Russell's voice at age 30. Wonderful. Unique. Love the way he says to Jonathan, "Thanks for being so nice to me."

I like how in most of Russell brand interview they start by thinking they can humiliate him then they soon realize they fucked up big time

this is like a boxing match. Two greats, having it out. Wit flying all over the place. Two great tennis players. verbal sparring. Russell as always, can hold his own against anyone. male or female. I love how he talks about Uma at the end.

j: "like a bearded lady" r: "jonathan, this is a remark designed to hurt my feelings" said with no hurt feelings damn, russell's quick, articulate, summed that up accurately AND called j.r. on this habit.

Eight years too late, but I'd say JR is a very generous interviewer and gave him a really good platform. I think they both did a great job. I don't really disagree though

haha he's changed since then, I think the best way to describe it is that he's hardened a little but I still love him just as much

Hilarious from start to finish. Something like this is unthinkable on US television. Imagine Leno or Letterman trying to keep up, let alone dart ahead as Ross sometimes does.

They do seem to be on a higher intellectual plain than Americans. Very sharp stuff !

Kind of like reading a good Charles Dickens novel it is!!!! Best Russell Brand interview ever.

I think this is the best of Russell Brand here, as an entertainer anyway. He looks great, he's hilarious, he's full of life...you can see he's something special.

thebooky161 you’re right... he’s not just hilarious, but he has a social conscience too. Above all, though, he’s fantastically sharp witted and I suspect, an exceptionally kind person! I’m fat, over 50 and can’t even pretend I have all my own teeth... but I’d give him one 😂🤣😂🙈🙊🙉🤗😍👍

How things have changed - can you imagine there being an act on primetime BBC called "4 poofs and a piano" these days? It seems crazy now, but was totally normal just a few years ago.

interesting to see the transformation of russ over time. here you can really see his attempts to blurr the lines of gender and sex. Definitely far cry of the more masculine russ we see nowadays. Still love this guy.

Just love Russel, And I think Him and Johnathan compliments each other.

wow, only knew Jonathon Ross by his emceeing on Fool Us - where he's very good -- but this hosting is great -- what a long & witty interview! For me it puts all the American talk show hosts in the dust. It takes something to keep up with Russell. Nice going, British TV. (yeah, i'm a yank.)

One of the things I find super refreshing about Russell is how he talks about women. He jokes, obviously, but you can tell he genuinely *likes* women. As in, beyond a sleazy dudebro attitude. He really seems to enjoy the company of women beyond the opportunity for sex.

Yes, me. I need to stop before I become addicted. I've watched around 3 or 4 interviews so far. The irony, as Russell talks about addiction in this interview.

Americans have NOT seen enough of Russell Brand to appreciate him. He's brilliant, funny, attractive - I could go on. I have a feeling Chelsea Handler hates him because he wasn't attracted to her!
