I read the comments and i had to share. I missed the chance to see rush perform back sometime between 2008-2012 i cant recall exactly. But was living in upstate New York and they performed 45 mins away from where i lived at the time. Old co workers had tickets to a show but i missed the phone call that they had tickets and wanted me to go with them. Im finally able to call them back and they had to bring along one of our other co workers, who wasnt even a rush fan and nearly got them kicked out the venue rush was performing at. Smh till this day i think about it. For the life of me i cant even remember why i missed the call that would of ended up being a life changing experience that was much needed cause was going through some life issues. But yes i am sadden as well. 😭

I can live without the high notes. I've rarely loved a song solely because the singer sung "high notes." I saw Zeppelin before and after 1972. I never cried that Robert couldn't hit the high notes. But others cry and bemoan that. Their loss. Zeppelin was one of the best bands to experience live.

I don’t know why people think that range lasts forever. Your voice really has limitations as you age, especially high notes like that. You can tell Geddy is a talented singer because he’s able to work around his limitations and still nail it every time. That’s the part that makes them so awesome
