Fun fact: While filming the bar fight scene Jackie was completely unaware of the history behind the N-word. One of Jackie Chan's first roles is as an extra in a Bruce Lee film and Bruce accidentally hits Jackie for real with nunchucks or a bo or something. If you’re impressed here, Jackie Chans stunts in his Hong Kong movies are FAR superior compared to his American ones. Jackie use to talked about how much he hated the production for US movies cause they’re so rushed and edited poorly. Also him and Chris Tucker were not the best of friends in real life either during the first movie. Chris Tucker would always show up late, crack jokes and improv during scenes. Jackie wasn't use to that or Tuckers hyperactive-ness. Plus Chan's english wasnt as good back then.

Many, though not all, modern museums rent artifacts from their rightful nations. However, we also need to keep in mind that some of the artifacts original owners have legitimately changed owners when nations choose to sell artifacts to museums with better viewing values (more people come to see/generate more revenue). Pieces on display today in reputable museums require authentication by recognized owners. The catch is that previously stolen items may take years to be established as stolen.

Definitely worth reacting to the full trilogy and also Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights with Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson, also reacting to some of his earlier comedy films would be cool.

One of the best comedy trilogies, 3 isn’t as good as 1&2 which are certified classics but it’s still a ton of fun to watch and the tucker/Jackie combo kd still magical. Hope we get to see you Do 2&3 in the near future,

I use to watch Jackie Chan in those old school Kung Fu theater movies in the 70s. As per the thumbnail title, his Kung Fu skills go back decades. Absolutely worth finding one for the good martial arts and a good dubbed campy laugh

Jackie Chan is beyond amazing, in every way. There was a false rumor he died of covid in 2020, Marvel's trying to get him to be in Shang Chi 2, hopefully for a big role. He's just great. Jet Li and Bruce Lee are both phenomenal, but Jackie Chan just has a charisma that the others lack, at least to his extent. It's the humor, I think.

This was normal back then. Ppl didn’t get bent out of shape over a joke. I saw it in theaters. The crowd was laughing the whole time. I don’t think they could make a Rush Hour 4 in this climate or if they did, it wouldn’t hit the same. And both actors have voiced wanting to make a part 4 since as far back as 2018. Still ain’t made it though. If this trilogy was made today, Chris Tucker would be racist in 1, homophobic in 2, and transphobic in 3.

Rush Hour is just scratching the surface of Jackie Chan's legacy. The guy's a legend. Does all of his insanely choreographed stunts. It's all shot in a satisfying way without many cuts. He uses objects around him. Isn't indestructible. And there's lots of comedy in his fight scenes too. He's style is super unique and the greatest martial artist actor/filmmaker imo.
