The actress who played the 'dragon lady' that Jackie Chan has a fight with, Youki Kudoh has actually won acting awards within the Japanese film industry. From looking through her filmography, this is one of the only English speaking roles she ever had. Must have just not been comfortable enough with the language. I can't imagine trying to act in a big hollywood movie, in a language you don't really understand yet.

George is my favorite character in rush hour 3. He finally completed his character arc. By becoming an American spy and killing someone.

The nun translating scene is hilarious. This scene gets me every time I watch this film. 😂

The actor who play Kenji is Hiroyuki Sanada. He is a Japanese swordsman master and one of very famous Japanese actor. He is also played Shingen Yashida in The Wolverine, Akihiko ( Yakuza ) in Avengers Endgame, and Scorpion in Mortal Kombat 2021.

I think Carter in this 3rd was at his best when it came to fighting (including the Hospital shootout) Fun Fact: Jackie Chan was 52 years old during this movie

When Jackie fights the blade lady and Chris Tucker listens at the door I cry laughing every time 🤣🤣🤣🤣

In 2018 Chan and Tucker both approved doing Rush Hour 4. Last I think we heard was 2019 when they said they were re-doing some of the script. Obviously then Covid happened. No word on how or when it'll happen, but there's hope for a 4th Rush Hour still.

COVID prbly messed it up and it’ll get shelved until a reboot 10yrs from now when the next generation Jackie Chan/Bruce Lee/Jet Li/Donnie Yen breaks out into western audiences and whoever the Chris Tucker is at the time will get the partner role.

The huge man beating up Chris Tucker is Mingming Sun. He and his wife are in the Guinness World Records recognized as the tallest couple! He is 2.36 m (7'9") and wife is 1.87 m (6'2"). They have a combined height of 4.23 m (13'11"). He is a recognized basketball player and she a handball player. Chris Tucker is 1.85 m (6'1")... so not exactly small, but next to Mingming Sun? Yeah... 😅

I'm not sure if you know this but in Rush Hour 2 in the beginning when Chris Tucker was dancing and singing! yeah that was real 😅😂 no autotune or choreography, the director wanted him to do it but he kept refusing so in between breaks Chris came to entertain the audience and he secretly recorded him doing that hence the beginning and they kept it in the movie

There were talks of a fourth Rush Hour movie which was cancelled after director Brett Ratner was accused of sexually harassing several women on the set of the Wonder Woman movie in 2016, and his name was even removed from the end credits.

@The Dan Yeah, I don't get why they are waiting for Brett Ratner, he's not even that great of a director. The first 2 Rush Hours were special cuz Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, while the directing was mediocre. They don't need Bret Ratner. Plus mainly Jackie Chan and his team directed the action scenes anyway.

I wished so much that Jackie made it big in US sooner. We wouldve had AMAZING filmography. He already has one helluvah resumé but it doesnt get enough western kudos.

His brother is played by Sanada the descendant of the great Samurai Yukimuria Sanada. He has been in The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise and many other amazing films.

Sorry to disappoint, but his birth name is Shimozawa, so he's probably not related to Yukimura. He's more than earned that name, though.

Said t before, I'll happily sing it again. Any film with Jackie in, even if it's not great, Jackie is great in it. Jackie Chan is the man.

Max Von Sydow is from "The Seventh Seal", "The Exorcist", "Flash Gordon" & "Conan the Barbarian", to name a few. You have to check out "Shanghai Noon" and "Shanghai Knights" with Jackie & Owen Wilson as king-fu cowboys. The tall man is Sun Mingming, a street fighter and basketball player.

Hi Mary, the Reynard character was portrayed by Max Von Sydow, he had a 70 yr career in films & tv. From the films I have seen, he was in the original (Dune) 1984, (Flash Gordon) 1980 , (Minority Report) 2002, (Conan the Barbarian) 1982, (Solomon Kane) 2009, (Judge Dredd) 1995 & (Three Days of the Condor) 1975, the latter film is I believe the first time I saw him. He was a fine Actor & is now sadly missed, R.I.P. Max .

The tall old guy you recognized is Max Von Sydo. He played the 3 eyed raven in GoT. He was also the old guy in the opening scene in Star Wars 7. And the Father / archeologist in the original Exorcist movie.

I find Jackie funnier pre-Hollywood. Check out Supercop (Police Story 3) with Michelle Yeoh, First Strike (Police Story 4), Who Am I?, and Operation Condor for some of his funniest.

Soyung in RH3 was basically a young adult. The actress in RH3 was different than the 1st one, but the age fits. She was 11 in RH (1998). RH3 happened 9 years later (2007), so she was 19 or 20.

There is one Jackie Chan film I highly recommend you check out: The Foreigner. Nothing else to add except its a dark and gritty action thriller drama wit Jackie kicking ass and taking names.

I remember watching this movie from the theaters when, I was 10 years old.

This movie is incredibly underrated. The whole School scene is funnier than any scene in the whole trilogy.

As much as I enjoyed the third film ❤the second film will always be my favorite

BTW... Jackie Chan CAN sing.. he has a few hits, and has wrote and sung a few songs in his movies.

Here in Los Angeles we are known for our high speed chases and gun shootings. ❤️LA!!! Do you think that is why they don't allow guns in the hospital, because patients could get hurt... 🤔 Lee wasn't just eating American food. He was eating soul food. Fried chicken and sweet potato pie. 🍗 🥧 The taxi driver was against Americans and their violence. But once he got a taste of it. He had a thirst for blood. 🤣 You should watch, "Shanghai Noon", starring Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson. ✌️❤️🌹
