Rush - Force Ten Bass Cover
Here’s another requested song. Force Ten by Rush off of Hold Your Fire released in 1987 with Geddy Lee on bass. One of the most beautiful, most underrated Rush albums in my opinion. Every song is a gem. This one in particular is a lot of fun to play, and it’s challenging with a lot of the one finger chord plucking on the main riff. Hope you enjoy!

Great choice to cover - love this song. Damn my left hand aches just watching you. I could probably play this at tempo for about three measures before cramping up, lol. Well done!!!

I think that's a Getty Lee signature. I have one. Love it, it was just like the one i had in 1979. Good sound, that 70s Jazz growl from the Ampeg, nothing better

Yep! A CIJ Geddy Lee signature. I absolutely love it! I got some Tom Brantley Geddy Lee pickups installed and it improved the sound so much. My favorite bass now!

@PrestonHunsinger-un9ce I've been having a 4 string fling for 38 years. All my Fender's are now CIJ as well. The C is what it's about. I bought the 1st year edition of the Jaguar jazz that I'll put away for a grandchild, and a 64RE P bass I played on for 8 years in Jamaica. With big, fat, old, flat wound Labella's. A reggae axe with 18s and 15s cabs outdoors. What the locals taught me was priceless and fun. You're damn good kid, a hell of a lot better then me, now and then. Keep playing🤘🤘
Ver impressive! Love to see you do some Iron Maiden. The man who would be king, invaders and Aces High are some great bass highlighted songs.
