Well, if you do win a title it separates you from the rest and makes you a champion for life.

Typical for Anglo-Saxons. They try to put an average driver on someone like Nicki Lauda. The same in tennis where there was a trio of Federer, Nadal and Djokovic and the English tried to push Murry into it.

I don't know which planet you're on..... Calling James Hunt an average driver, is the dumbest thing I've read all year. And what about Jackie Stewart? Sterling Moss? Graham Hill? Damon Hill? Nigel Mansell? Lewis Hamilton? I mean really? Are you gonna say that Britain hasn't produced world class drivers?! And here endeths the lesson.... Football. Rugby. And Cricket. There is one country that has won all three.... England. And we'll be in that exclusive club, for a very long time. If not ever.

Andy "Murry" is Scottish - not English. So to use a well-worn Scots phrase... "get tae fuck".

Every year at least one driver died in the track. Every race, it could be you. They had to sign some kind of will every race. It was pretty f*up. Lauda decision to retire in Japan started to change the sport and people started to search for safety.

Let’s see that stupid little twat go 180mph around truly dangerous circuits with no electronics to stop him from screwing up. Those guys were real racers, taking very real risks in cars that required real seat of the pants abilities. None of the spoilt kids in today’s F1 get my respect like that generation did. RIP Lauda, Hunt, Prost et al. True racers from a golden age.

1976 Ferrari 312T2, the top speed was 205 miles per hour, or 330 kilometers per hour, with an H pattern gearbox, no power steering and three pedals on the floor, and no driver aids.

La mejor película que refleja fielmente el mundo de la F1 de los años dorados, los 70's, James Junto y el gran Niky Lauda.
