Spent hours learning the entire album when I was 16 in 1980. Glad to see it still captures the minds of the new generation of musicians. Rock on!

I couldn't play guitar if you held a gun to my head, but Im telling you kid, you got some MAD talent. I love some RUSH too! I really hope you do something with it and not end up like all those guys who played so well and didn't run with it. I'm rooting for you!!!

Quite agree with @weaponspc I'm a ex-musician and can tell there is a huge talent here. I can see the passion...copying and nursing each note and bend as you do, shows that. In some shape or form, you really need to keep and maintain this talent.

dude, great sound! Can you tell me exactly how you created your patch? Distortion, Overdrive with some chorus and analog delay i assume. That's what i use and sounds close, but still can't get it exact. Yours sounds dead on. LEt me know if you can. You rock man. I have been playing for over 20 year and i still suck!! Hahaha, been a Rush fan forever, love to play em.

For the guitar, I used a Shure SM57 mic in front of a Mesa Boogie Lonestar Special amp. The guitars are double tracked. For the bass, it was plugged directly into my interface, but I can't remember what processing I did on it.

Where do you find you tab/sheet music? I’ve been looking for Overture tab for a while

I'm intrigued, neither of your instruments are plugged in, how do you pickup and mix the sound? Or are the videos not of your playing on the 'take' that we hear and are more for the viewers benefit?

to me it seems like he prerecorded the tracks and then mimed along to himself playing on video so he could focus on getting a good take for each independently

Amazing cover, but the bass is pretty inaudible in the mix.

Step 2. While making a video of great music that was already written for you and this is constructive criticism teach yourself not to be constantly looking at the fret board while playing....
