It was appropriate for you to call out the organizers. If they want their event to have prestige, they should run it in a way that gives participants the ability to perform at their best.
Putting aside the red bulls for water had me laughing like mad :D absolutely hilarious! Your videos are awesome, fun to watch and very motivating!

Damn! 140m rise over only 400m is insane! I checked it against the steepest sections of the park I use and that's a bit over twice as steep lol. Sounds very fun!
@goranwinblad

Yeah it for sure was more like climbing than running at the steepest section 😅 Yeah it was super fun!
It's really unprofessional to move the time without informing people who participate in the event. However, still very impressed with Göran's place, well done! I don't know if I missed it, but were there any women who participated?

Events do this a lot and they will announce it on the microphone. They obviously did since almost everyone was already standing at the starting line. 🙄
@karsonkevin2

@@alwaystmoza you are wrong. I have been to 100's of races and have never had a heat pushed up. If there is a published schedule, they will start exactly on that time or as soon as the prior heat finishes. No meet director would ever start a race early. Especially 30 minutes early! People plan out their warmup routines based on the start times of a race. 30 minutes out, you would still have guys out doing warm up jogs.

Wow I've really looked forward to this video! great editing with a sneak peak first and then the shots from 3 hours and 6 days earlier. Also really liked the "interview". It was a fun adding to the flow of the video. But I was a bit amazed in a bad way of the lack of information and the decision to change the start time, I mean such a big event, those kind of mistakes are expected at small local comps but not from big organizers. Anyway grym video och kul att följa dig på resan Göran!

Thanks glad you liked it! Yeah it was for sure a bit frustrating with so many people handing out red bulls but no one could answer the most simple questions about the rules 😅 but was a super fun experience anyway 😊
Brilliant Göran! Looks great fun.. shame about the (dis)organisers messing about with the start time but you did really well still!

Dude, that sucks that they moved the start time. Did they explain why after the race? Still, you probably raced on anger which isn’t a bad thing in those types of races 😂 fair play. Reminds me of pre-season training with my running club when I was a kid 400m hill, sprint up walk down, so much puke on it by the end of the session, brutal, made you regret every chocolate bar you sneaked in in your holiday ;) even now more than 30 years later those sessions make me wince.
Great video! Have you ditched 360 camera? I didnt saw it in your recent videos. What equipment for filming are you using now?
@goranwinblad

Thanks! No haven’t ditched it just depends a bit on the situation what I choose to film with. I film with a Sony A7C, insta 360 one x, dji osmo action, iPhone and mavic air drone.

I am so glad to see that not only in chile the organizers move everything all over the place xD do you by any chance know what % incline this slope had?
Nice video and well done. Re your 6 days out from an event wouldn't do anything after one session only. Takes longer for the body to adapt to a stimulus. Can't expect your legs to get anything from the session from just one.

8:33 HOW? WHAT? WHY? That mess up with the times from the organiser part was such a let down. They seem to have done such a good job with the nets, results and stuff and still were able to mess the starting time.
