I saw you running. It was quite impressive to watch you elite runners pass me up even with a 5 min head start. Y'all are crazy runners

Amazing work! Congrats on the PR. Any advice for running without a pacer group? I was banking on having a 1:30 pacer, but I don't know if that will be the case. Hard for me to tell if my goal time is really doable and pacers have definitely helped me stay in the game. Sometimes it's hard to think when going so fast and pushing that hard! Would love to hear your thoughts.

It was a nice day the Woodlands ! Hit a PR in the full. Have you done the Austin 3M half marathon before? Net downhill, super fun. That might be for your 1:14:58

That’s incredible dude, you are carrying a lot of muscle and still putting down a time like 1.19….very impressive. Just goes to show you don’t have to be rail thin to run very fast. What was your peak mileage in the build up to this half. Have one coming up in May and starting to train for it now. Hoping to get a good time but my A race is a marathon in November that I am aiming to peak for. I’m guessing you would have no problem running sub 3 in the marathon if you can run 1.19 HM

Thank you! I am actually in the middle of prepping for the Boston marathon right now, so this race was used as a tuneup race in the middle of that prep. So the week prior I ran 60 miles. Good luck with your marathon!

I just started to follow your channel because you have some great content around nutrition and race planning... but I'm interested as to why you don't use BPN supps? I guess you have some sponsorship stuff but doesn't that also compete with your employer? You may get this question a lot but I'm truly interested.

Hey Jeremy, thank you for your share of wisdom through your videos 💥🎉 I am 33 years old, I have finished my first marathon (4.5 hours) and planning on racing my first IM 70.3 this October. since I would like to do a lot of Zone 2 trainings, I would like to ask you the following: When I do the 220-age formula, my zone 2 is from 120-140 , but with the Karvonen formula my Zone 2 is from 135-150 (resting HR 58) since there is a SO BIG difference I dont know where to train. Any help with that please ? 🎉 (Moreover I find it extremely boring to keep my HR Under 140 since my pace there is 10min/km ..meaning i could walk faster 🤣...and for a 10km long run I need 1.40 hours 🤣🍕)

I’d recommend a happy medium between the two-around 140-45! It just takes time to build that aerobic base and get your HR to come down and paces to get faster. In my experience with coaching new athletes, it usually takes about 4-8 weeks for that to happen! Just stay patient and trust the process! 🙌

@@LR6092 this was my first race in months-and I tweaked my hip flexor in training over a month ago. It’s fine now lol. So it wasn’t from over training or over racing. The amount of races people do is completely subjective to them and what their body can handle.

@Jeremy Miller you do you man but that many races while putting in any type of effort is a recipe for disaster. I can see your strava you mention that the hip flexor nags won't go away, you said that two days ago so I'm not sure what your getting at

@@LR6092 lol the only races I'm going for effort will be Boston and Chicago. The rest are for fun/completion. Thanks for the status update of my hip though!
