I am really enjoying these “Runner’s Weekend” videos. So well done, Mike. And looks like just a TON of fun.

What a great film to watch while I am on my Lunch (I am UK GMT) , fantastic music, great landscape and I can get a virtual feel for what is to me an alien landscape (the UK is just as good but very different ) . Love this new series. I think Kieran running 2000 miles in one go across Eastern Europe on his manvmiles challenge is first, but next to that this takes the cake... you guys are better than TV .. so hard to not get my shoes and get out there (on a rest day) when I watch great people doing great things

Awesome, you found our secret playground. Wish I would have known you were in town. I could have taken you on some amazing mountain runs. Great footage, I live not to far from were you were at that track. Glad you got to see a little bit of the the beautiful Eastern Sierra. You should come out for the Mammoth Mountain Trail running festival in September. It's going to be amazing and it's run by Tim tollifson, Pro world elite trail runner and race director. It's a special place.

Wow, those runners are so fast! Ko, did someone point out Mt. Whitney to you? I’m pretty sure you can see it from Mammoth…the highest point in the continental US.

Hi Mike, Great video. Just for 'laughs' I tried that Mammoth workout 18 by 1 min, and damn was that hard and I was nowhere near as fast as those guys

The off minutes were still quite speedy, probably equivalent to a moderate effort. So it’s a solid 36 minutes of work, plus about another 10 miles with the warmup and cool down. (Also, Koen likes to cool down fast, apparently)

I brought the Fuji Lite 2, Glideride 3, Novablast 3, and Metaspeed Edge Plus with me on this trip. For watch, I went with Garmin 255 Music with an aftermarket stretchy band

these trails were incredibly well marked. don't worry, I ran around in circles in San Francisco today, even though I had google maps directions in my ear during the run.
