Hi, fantastic video, but I got a bit confused at 15:10......When you created the image from a zip file was that to a real 5.25 floppy which you then booted in the Amiga 2000? Or was the rest of that installation on the UAE emulated 2000 - and then you copied the resultant entire UAE disk image to the real Amiga....? If the latter, is there any way of creating an empty ABHarddisk and copying the file from UAE - rather than then whole image - would that work, do you know? You also said you found a newer version of the Janus software for the Amiga (15:12) - where did you find that?

I've got a similar setup. On the Amiga side I'm using the buddha with a 4gb sd card the bridgeboard side is using the original 32meg miniscribe hdd. Is there a way to move the files back and forth from the miniscribe pc side to the Amiga SD card side?

Got /r/retrocomputing? Awesome video mate. I will launch my own channel soon. Could you run some fancy software on it? 4 wishes: (1) Try to run Microsoft's MSD.exe to see how it enumerates the hardware. (2) Try to run Wolfenstein 3D. It ran on the 286. (3) Norton Commander (4) Try to run PHILS DOS BENCHMARK SUITE, see how far you can push it's capabilities. (5) Make more videos like these! Then I get to re-live the experience, it's actually quite a blast to watch...!

Thank you! I dont think that I can run Wolfenstein cause the CPU is a 8088 @ 4.77 MHz. I can run the benchmark probably. Ill see if I post a follow-up to this video.

How can you connect IDE disk to bridgeboard which has SCSI?

You dont, but I have an IDE on the A2000.

3:13 Can that CF IDE adaptor use a CDROM drive as a bootable CD0? For example maybe it could do it instead with or without a kickstart3.1 (or something like a 3.1.4 ROM)?

@@TechJump Are you sure though? There are some amiga IDE HDD interfaces that can be added to an amiga and they don't work with a CDROM. Each one has to be tested and thereby proven to work (with CDROM as bootable CD0) by an owner. So for example a modern addon which _does_ work with both bootable HDD (as HD0) and bootable CDROM (as CD0) is the vampire-v4.
