Rufus’ speaking voice is musical!!!!. Going To A Town is a song that takes America to task on their pre Obama ideology that gay marriage was biblically wrong. You won’t go to hell for having loved . We are all God’s children. Brilliant man

rufus wainwright is against the war in Iraq. At least he's not afraid of expressing how he feels. at 7:10 Brown says "we have obligations for the Iraqi people." What obligations? democracy by force? Their entire oil supply is dried up. They wait hours at gas stations. But no one can blame a person who hasn't seen "the other side" of the story.

I love Rufus' little 'perch' on the sofa...so the fat politicians can have their space! Although Brown seemed very sweet with him.

He was born in the U.S and moved to canada when he was young. He has duel citizenship. So saying he's american isn't incorrect.

How can you possibly not know that Rufus is gay? There's at least one song about loving a man on every one of his albums

Something very awkward about the whole second part. Sat on the arm of the sofa next to Gordon Brown. Hmm. Poor Rufus
