@@SurgeDashcam I work for a dealership and around the corner there is often a 2 foot deep flood every winter. Last winter someone flew through it in a Kuga and ripped the undertray off and demanded that we gave them a courtesy car on a Sunday evening when service was closed. Told them no chance😂😂

Wrong ! When you are in a passenger car , do not even think of driving through the water as the air intake is so low it could hydro- lock the engine if water gets in,, resulting in a severe engine failure

I think it's just water in the electrics with all the cars here, no hydrolock damage. It's the petrol ones that suffered, diesels deal with it better.

Actually that Merc is totaled, Mercedes only replaces the whole engine with a new one from Germany, 99% of the times the insurance just totals the car

Most of them are skint and in debt up to their eyeballs and will never own their cars, I'd like to know the percentage of the newer high end performance cars that are fully paid for, at a guess id say 70%+ of the 63's and BMW M cars that are less than 5 years old are on tick or lease.

@@RSX.91G People don't buy cars anymore, every new car nowadays is leased. The majority of high end BMWs, Mercs, Audi's are all leased and that's a fact. You've got to be in a pretty privileged positions to buy one of those second hand as they are still 20k cars and once again, even used most people lease.

This is one of the worst I've seen for overall appalling driving standards... it really concerns me that this many people seem to be utterly ignorant of driving through water like this. ...And yet I love watching these, so thanks BENGREGERS!

That model had sensor into the air filter box for water detection.If water manage to go inside that sensor shut down the engine to prevent hidrolocking.Car cannot be restart before recalibration

Given that Autovlog's C63 got hydrolocked just from a splash from someone else's car on a highway, this guy here is going to be shopping for a new engine..

The smaller cars going through it was exciting, especially when they were successful. The Land Rovers and the tractor were boring because I knew they could easily do it and so did their drivers.
