This is really informative. Thanks for sharing as this clear my doubts. My rubber bonsai was doing well and is in red soil as this is how I got it from nursery. Few leaves starts dropping and wilting. I guess that’s under-watering. I have a question I live in Delhi can I keep my rubber plants in full sun? I will repot my plant and use coco peat, perlite, rice husk, bonemeal, neem khali and compost.

Hello Micheal ! This summer is going really hotter day by day so if you have the green verity then you can keep you plant in full sun if your plant is in ground but potted plant suffer a lot in such extreme heat. So, if your plant is in pot and green one then place your plant where no direct exposure of sun after 12:00 noon. If you have burgundy or verigated one then it is advisable that keep your plant in shade with sufficient light but no direct sun. Happy Gardening 👩‍🌾

Agar upar se new leaves hain toh tension na le. Kabhi kabhi naturally bhi aisa hota hai jb plant khud ko adjust kr rha hota hai. Overwatering na kare aur summer heat se bacha k rakhe

No, wait till you plant revive and once plant revive, check, if the drooped leaf is dried up or not, if dried, them remove if not then let it shade on its own.

Hello Nindika ji, Nursery se plant ko le aane k turant baad repot nhi karna chahiye. At least one week aap apne ghar pe shade me rakhe jisase vahan k environment me plant adjust ho jaye. Aapke plant ki leaves droop ho rhi toh shayad shock ki vajah se ho kyunki nursery se aane baad Plant k sath kaafi changes huye hain . Abhi aap kuch na kare plant ko Semi shade me rakhe aur adjust hone de. Dhyan rakhe ki soil well drained ho. Leaf droop ho toh soil check kare agar dry lge toh watering karein. Agar 8-10 din baad bhi plant me koi stability nhi dikhti toh ek baar root bhi check kare. Good luck 🤞

Magar indoor rakh dia jisse growth may b sun light na ane se ruk gyi isliye maine outdoor rakkha to leaf drop ho gyi... Apne sai kaha plant ko shock laga hai... As summers is not it’s peak so don’t hurry. You can check on overwatering or direct sun exposure. If these are okay then leave your plant as such. Plants shades their leaves in order to save them so it can be due to heat strokes of summers. Good luck 🤞

Growth me time lagta hai. Kuch din baad jb plant adjust ho jayega tb new growth dikhegi. Pot me iski growth ground ke comparison me slow hoti hai. Leaf pe koi oil apply mt karna. Isase stomata (pore) block ho jayenge jo plant k liye theek nhi hai. Just ek clean cloth ko geela karke wipe kr dena. Jb plant healthy hoga to leaf pe shine apne aap hi dikhegi. Don’t apply any kind of oil.

My healthy rubber plant dropped leaves after repotting. One by one 3 leaves turned yellow & lost the leaves. I have this plant from last 3 years, never happened before. I used potting mix soil. Please suggest

Navneet ji, keep your plant in semi shade. Your plant in shock due to repotting. Keep the soil moist. Do not frequently change the plant spot at least for now. Let your plant adjust the shock. Once the rain starts your plant will bounce back till then do not disturb your plant. Happy Gardening 👩‍🌾

4-5 hr tk kaafi hai Isase jyada der nhi rakh sakte hain lekin km time hone se plant leggy aur leaves small hone lagti hain.

Hello Akanksha ji, Starting ki leaves soft hoti hai isliye drooped rehti hain kuch din me jb mature ho jayegi tb theek ho jayegi. Plant ko jyada tez dhoop me na rakhe.

Wait karein. Pot me iss plant ki growth slow hoti hai. Plant ko khareede abhi jyada din nhi hua hai isliye new environment me adjust hone me bhi plant time leta hai. Aap tension na le. Soil ko well drained rakhe aur paani tabhi daale jb upar ki layer bilkul dry ho jaye. 15-20 din baad thoda sa compost add kr dena. Plant ko outdoor ya bright light vale area me rakhe . I just bought my Rubber plant and repot on the same day. Although the soil is well drain still top leave are showing fully down.. I am not able to understand where to put my plant.. My all plants are placed on south direction but not in direct sunlight

Drooping is due toh repotting shock. Plant will comeback healthy within week. If there is bright light at your place then this plant will do good. 5-6 hr bright light will your plant to grow. Happy gardening 👩‍🌾

please help me nearly 6 months back i bought a burgundy rubber plant from nursery since then it has no growth nor did i repot i water it 2 days once and it has enough of sunlight the area is always sunny bright light atleast 10-12 hrs a day and i have been cleaning its leaves two weeks once too please help it is always drooping its leaves are never straight it had 10 leaves when bought but now it has 7 leaves only the leaves start to yellow then fall of they all start falling from bottom one by one dont know whta to do hav tried searching the reasons for it but didnt find the grwoing tips the top where leaf comes out the pink part of new growth has also turned brown and has dried up noor it has dried up nor grown pleas e plsease help really needed i have to save it

PLEASE HELP ANYONE!! Overwatering reason ho sakta hai. Apni mitti check karein ki vo well drained hai ya nhi. Khin pot me paani na ruk rha ho.

Suddenly mere rubber plant ke sare leaves ek sath jhar gaye ...less. watering karti hun par moist rehta. Sunlight mein rakhne se leaves side burn ho jte toh indoor rakha

Kai baar plants ko dhoop se shade me sift karte hain tb bhi shock ki vajah plant apni leaves jo shade kr deta hai. Ho sakta hai aapke plant k sath bhi yahi hua ho. Ab aapne jahan apne plant ko shift kiya hai vahan usko adjust hone de. Repoting ya aur koi remedy na apna ye. Soil ko well drained rakhe aur moist rakhe, soggy nhi. Indirect light bhi plant pe padhegi toh aapka plant fir se new leaves bna lega .

Hello Shalini, As you said that there is no overwatering, I would suggest you to leave your plant on it’s own in a partial shady area. Add some Epsom salt ( spray) to your plant. Happy Gardening 👩‍🌾

Stress ki vajah se aisa hota hai. Shayad aapne overwatering ki hogi, ya fir plant ki jagah shift ki hogi.

Hello dear Leaves Round ho rhi hai matlab roll ho rhi hain ? Aisa aged leaves k sath hota jb vo shade off hone vali hoti hain. Make sure ki drainage hole open hai. Keep the soil moist not soggy. Add some fertiliser like vermi compost. Keep your plant in the area where 3-4 hr sun light available

Hello Dear Rumy, plants behave differently with seasonal changes. If watering condition are okay then move your plant to little bit more brighter area. You can add Epsom salt at the intervals of 15-20 days. Quantity depends upon size of the plant. Take 1 teaspoon salt in 1 lit water and spray all over the plant. Happy gardening 👩‍🌾

Kai baar jb plant ko dhoop km milti hai tb aisa hota hai. Aap check kare ki plant ko sufficient sunlight mil rhi hai ya nhi. Winters me vaise bhi dhoop km hi hoti hai toh tension na len. Plant me panni km daalen jb temperature normal hoga to plant bhi theek ho jayega.
