Just would like to say I won't be replying to any more comments about which way the fencing should face.🙄 It's become a bit tiresome.RULE 1 Thanks for all your comments though. 🙂

I was too late for the TPO but work with loads of ex TPO and Station staff in logistics for RM their stories tell how it wasn’t just a job it was a lifestyle, I’d have loved to have been among that generation. Your model and video bring to life the stories I’m told, I see the train now and it’s just lifeless. Offload 700 Yorks and off it goes not the ops at the regional stations of yesteryear. The concrete post fence with the angle went the way you wanted to stop people climbing over, so a yard or compound would have it facing outwards to stop people getting in, there were also angled brackets to attach to brick work to achive the same deterrent. I put up a fair few miles on fencing in my time. it was a time when you didn`t need to put signs up telling people they might hurt themselves climbing a fence there not supposed to be on. 🤣

Hi Graham, great stuff as usual. The fencing; it looks like you need a spray tin of super glue activator, cyanoacrylate accelerator, it instantly cures the superglue, ideal for modelling purposes, costs round £5 to £6 a tin, widely available, only the merest squirt needed! Too much and it forms into crystals. Regards Julian

Great looking Royal Mail depot Graham, I have blue (Bachmann) brute trolleys and was thinking of painting them in Royal Mail red and looking at yours they look better in red, not sure if they should be blue or red perhaps others could let me know. The ditch was a good idea and am sure once fully dry and loose grass removed will look the part. Have you tried (cheap) hair spray to hold tall grass in place. Many thanks for sharing it was a pleasure to watch, regards Barry. 👍🍺

Excellent and virtually spot on Graham. I remember the cages with us were blue or red and rusty lol As they were always lying around on the platform ends. Thankyou for the mention Graham, And Mark is spot on when it comes to RM. We 39:36 do speak now and again over YT. One thing you must try to get is a Bedford EA VAN, I believe thats the model name, We called them station wagons if they make them. This is what we drove to take the mail from the Mail centre (cardiff) to the station. The drainage was a great idea. 👍🏻
