@@Liberalllbty I respect your right to your beliefs. What I admire about Islam is the discipline and modesty among the women. I don't think it is necessary for a woman to have to cover her face, but American women need to cover more of their bodies while in public. It is disrepectful to men and denigrating to the nobility of women. What I love about Christianity is the beautiful way true Christian men treat women. The New Testament teaches men to love their wives like themselves. This is what ushered in the gentlemanly treatment of women like you see in the old movies. My husband treats me this way and it's wonderful. Allowing more than one wife is degrading to the first wife and I would not like to see that happen here.

Without the resurrection there is no hope for mankind since man will stay separated from God without a proper atonement for his sin. Since the time of Adam and Eve, God always required blood sacrifices to be made for sin until the time of Christ. God then allowed the Temple in Jerusalem to be destroyed because it was no longer needed. Christ's sacrifice on the cross was once for all, and the penalty of our sin is paid for if we trust in Him and follow His commandments. The Jew and the Muslim have no assurance at death if they will escape hell fire or not, but the saved Christian is given the Holy Spirit to bear witness to his own spirit that he is a redeemed child of God. If you do not have this relationship with God through Christ, you may have a religion, but you don't have salvation.

@@georgewagner7787 It seems to be a deeply fearful and uncurious idea to suggest that there's nothing to gain from education when it's not directly related to scripture or theology. Children will one day become adults God-willing, they need to know some basic information about the world and how to interact with other people. I was educated at home and in public schools. There's nothing wrong with either one of them inherently but if your only motivation is stop your children from learning then I think that they would be better served by letting them spend more time with their peers. I also attended a Christian university, which was massively helpful in many ways. But I would be lying if I said that everyone there was a trustworthy source. Critical thinking is a valuable skill and I don't see how anyone would benefit from not being allowed to use it for themselves.

In one of my sermons I address the argument of this exact point: I ask "when Jesus met with sinners, he did dine with them and such, what was his goal? Was it to become like the sinner and thus be inclusive? Or was it to highlight the excelling value of faith and have the sinner emulate Jesus, repent and turn their life around?" We all know the answer, so going along with the sinner's sinful practices does them no favors, the truth WILL set them free, just do it in love.

The only reason that I can think of for why she would say this is because she's trying to stop people from humanizing Queer people. Jesus said that you will know false prophets by their fruit. And once you recognize the human toll of what you're supporting then you will not support it. Love is not a sin, and I do not believe in a sexist morality. Nor do I support of condone a culture of terroristic shame against those who are different. I've seen preachers and other supposed leaders inflict years of suffering and shame onto innocent children. That is evil, and if you ignore that then you are not going to have anything meaningful to say to a person who escaped it; Queer or otherwise.

“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.” Thank you for such a message that should resonate within the Church.

I am glad that I see some evidence of this perspective gaining momentum in a percentage of believers who realize that we have to come to terms with this battle of clarity. We do not abandon Jesus and his Church founded through his Apostles because of the sins and errors of Fallen man. Just as Jesus became angry when they turned his Fathers house into a den of Thieves, we do not remain silent and allow the WOLVES in Sheep's clothing to turn the House of God over to the "Father of LIES"❤ Put on the ARMOR of GOD take up the battle cry, but first we must pray daily The Holy Rosary for the Religous Clergy and the Holy Vicar of Christ. The only rainbow in or around our Churches should be God's orchestrated one that covers his throne in our sky. I was raised Catholic. By 24, I was lost. I finally began reading and (praise God) studying the Bible. While I’m still plucking out the lies that the Vatican so deeply planted. With each courageous honest Biblical teacher, I’m uncovering more and understanding Christ’s sacrifice better.

I sang in harmony with you!!! As a child I didn't understand why wouldn't I " not want" God? I do know now, that it means I won't lack anything. But I do think that some people who love their sin so much that they truly don't want God. How sad!

I lost a brother last Saturday. He was a former Catholic priest, excommunicated when he came out of the closet some 30 years ago. I only say this because as an evangelical/Protestant, who was less educated than him and his younger brother, there was no way, he would never listen to me about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I think he would have listened to this incredible woman though. I wish I would have found this video sooner

All religions are for people to have good morals and to show cooperation, unity and integrity, and it teaches prayer, fasting and helping the poor and kindness to parents and relatives. Jesus Christ was not hanged, he ascended to the sky, he did not die. Prophets in Islam are servants of God, he is not the Lord. The Lord is one and God created the world.

Sorry to hear your brother died without experiencing the saving grace of Jesus. He was a priest, but he was obviously not a Christian. Also, I'm not sure what your lack of education has to do with anything. Clearly, he was under conviction, confessed his fault, and experienced the correct discipline of the church. Don't feel sorry for him or yourself. He had every opportunity to repent. Let's hope he did on his deathbed. I agree it would have been good if we had people like Rosario, but we have the word of God, and that should speak just as loud for those who say they love God.

Thank you Rosaria for your clarity of thought regarding "Old Testament" Church thinking v's "New Testament" 'Church 'thinking', especially ! The Quote "I am the Lord; I change not"; really fits in here, clearly; and Genesis 1 is very clear in the account of what God did in the "Beginning". "Male and Female, created He them"! To me, that is pretty clear, and "deals" with Post-Modernism thinking quite clearly. Seems to me so many of us in the Church have somehow "forgotten" how the Genesis of Creation; caused by the 'bombardment' of lies perpetrated over the years by Darwin, etc., and by so many 'others'. This has risen to the extent that now-a-days "anything goes"; incl. within the church institution's. I believe we need to do as you said, as a church - learn to "'return to our first love' and find out from Him how to "throw a lifeline" to all those people deceived within society and give them a "hand up" with the truth of the 'Real King'. Seems to me that "actions speak louder than words" (as was the case in you having meals the the church people for as long as it took), are what we need to be doing. Some 'would' say, "moving in the Spirit" and I would agree with that in my own life; i.e. the "fruit of the Kingdom", also. Thank you so much, once again - you have clarified the LGBGT+ "bombardment on New Zealand children, as well. 👆

Her understanding of scripture is confused, her ideas of Queer people and the Queer liberation movement are completely out of touch, wrong, even(if not especially) by the standards of the time where she was supposedly a professor of Queer theory.

Wow ... what a wonderful encouragement, correction & challenge to the Church to unite as ONE as JESUS prayed it would in John 17. I wept as I listened 😢... I imagined JESUS weeping over HIS CHURCH like HE did over JERUSALEM. O FATHER help us to throw out life-lines to those around us. With the help of the HOLY SPIRIT ... I ask this in the PRECIOUS NAME OF JESUS CHRIST our LORD, KING & SAVIOUR.

And don’t forget the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sang proudly This Land is Your Land with and led by the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus in 2018.
