This was so incredibly powerful. I came to Christ 5 months ago, just like she said - naked with no dignity. Every day I battle same-sex attraction... But God has also restored my healthy sexuality, and a wife and family are a possibility for me. That will be a challenge in itself. But God knows better than I how much I needed to hear this woman's encouragement. So thank you.

She's one of the best that there's ever been or ever will be, especially in her particular area of repenting of sexual sin. She communicates great insight and experience into a very cloudy, controversial, and confusing topic and the listener is easily able to follow her thinking and process. On one hand, I want to say how much I admire her and respect her and on the other hand I want to be impartial and be able to expose any fallacy. In this talk, she didn't even get into the depth of her after conversion experience, which she called " losing everything except the dog" (paraphrased). Any person curious about genuine Christianity can and should listen to her and extract her essence of submission to the imparted Word, repentance, and redemption.

Would it not be more productive for you to ask your daughter for the reasons for her "unbelief", take those "reasons", without question, and go find the answers that she is lacking? No one chooses their beliefs, you are either convinced that a proposition is true or you are not. "Evidence" is far more likely to change your daughter's mind than "prayer". Ask yourself what 1 Peter 3: 15 reason first convinced you of the truth of 1 Corinthians 15: 14. Clearly "it's true because my mommy told me so" is no longer sufficient for your daughter. Always remember that if she is correct then no one is destined for "hell" and you have sacrificed a relationship with your daughter on the alter of an imaginary god.

She has a great testimony, however it’s interesting to hear her say that when she was in the lesbian community she felt that Christians have hatred toward homosexuals. At the same time, she thought Christians were ridiculous and she was writing a book exposing Christian’s “hatred”. In other words, she and her friends also had a very biased view of Christians, no different than what she accused Christians of. If Christians considered themselves to be more “pious” or moral, it sounds like her lesbian community also considered themselves not only more ethical, but more enlightened and intelligent. So my point is that we all believe that we are “correct”, more ethical, more moral than those we disagree with. Because you agree with the biblical definition of marriage does not mean you hate gay people.

A consistent theme within her testimonies is her lesbian lifestyle prior to her conversion. My problem is there is no information, concerning Rosaria, that validates her prior lifestyle, no pictures with lesbian friends sporting butch haircuts, and no videos where she offers her LGTQ world view. Either all the info has been removed or her claims her fictitious. Can anyone point me to a place that shows her prior lifestyle ( pictures, videos, writings)?

The Name of the Creator is Hayah asher Hayah, as what He told Moshah (Exodus 3:14), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. There is a curse to the G-o-d name (Isaiah 65:11-12), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. All followers of the Messiah are to do the 7 appointed times (Leviticus 23), but no more animal sacrifices, following the Crucifixion of the Messiah. We are now of the order of MLK TSDQ (King, righteous), to Whom ABRaHM tithed. Ask the Messiah to be your personal Savior. He said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Hayah (Romans 3:23). The wages for sin is death but the gift of ALaHYM is Everlasting Life through Messiah Yahushgh our Master (Romans 6:23). That if you confess with your mouth the Master Yahushgh and believe in your heart that ALaHYM raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved (Romans 10:9). He Himself is an Atoning Offering for our sins, and not for ours only but also for all the world (1 John 2:2). “This passage [Romans 1:24-27] finds its crescendo in how one sin - homosexuality - morphs into other sins” as listed in Romans 1:28-32. So, according to this hermeneutic, homosexuality is The Sin which leads to all the other sins such as greed, murder, gossiping, slander, disobedience to parents. Fascinating! So Ted Bundy was, at his core, a homosexual; Bernie Madoff was, at his core, a homosexual; a 16 year old girl badmouthing and disobeying her parents is, at her core, a homosexual. Truly Fascinating!!

You make seemingly sounds critique of the absurdity of homosexuality being at the core of all sin, but you over look her framing, indeed the Bibles framing. whilst Romans does, to her show, how homosexuality morphs to other sins, she states prior to that, that is mirroring Eve disobedience in Genesis, that Original sin is turning from God's law and will. which does not therefore equate to all sin being a surface expression with homsexuality at its core, but that of the original sin. Otherwise hterosexuals would be free of sin, and they're not.

Knowledge is enlightening ignorance is death. Hubris, conceded pride and the egotistical Id wrapped in decedent rebukes are apostate evil. I don't see much humility here. A lot of ego still. I get a feeling she has a superiority complex. She was the greatest gay now she's the greatest Christian. I just cringe at her type of self engrandising academic. Interesting comment. Humility is one of the Christian virtues and is also a fruit of the Holy Spirit. But what does it actually look like and how does it manifest itself? Was Jesus humble? Yes and no. He was very humble in certain situations, but at other times he acted and spoke with extraordinary authority. Some may say - but he was the Son of God. But what about the apostle Paul? Rosaria is an intellectual, she is a former professor - but this is part of her personality (and the question is whether a certain type of personality becomes a professor for that reason or does being a professor mean that someone becomes such a personality. I think the first option is more true. I myself am teacher). Rosaria is a natural teacher and is also a former activist. An intellectual can be very introverted, but also very active on the outside. But that in itself is not a bad thing. In order to really judge whether Rosaria is humble or egocentric, I would have to see what her normal life is like - how she treats others

Are you really asking such trivial questions? And who makes, for example, children who are born blind, right? God is only good and everything he created WAS good (this is also stated in Genesis). But there is a difference between a stone, a tree, an animal, and between a man and an angel. A stone only is, a tree has no consciousness, an animal has no conscience and truly free will (therefore one cannot speak of its guilt). Angels and humans (and perhaps there are other similar beings, outside of our known world) are beings endowed with free will. This means that they can decide between good and evil - they are able to understand its nature and act accordingly. The potential to decide even for evil is paradoxically a part of good. If we were not capable of this, then we would not be God-like beings, we would be like THINGS, like programmed robots. Without free will there is no possibility to love - true love requires an authentic decision, free action. The devil (Satan) was an archangel (that's why he is called Lucifer - "light bearer") and decided to rebel against God and took a third of the angels to his side - and they were rejected, thrown from heaven. That is why they talk about "fallen angels" - devils, demons. The devil could not harm God and that is why he decided to destroy something that God cared about - humanity. Man decided that God was deceiving him and the Devil was telling the truth - and thus the whole earth was cursed and corrupted. This is described in Genesis. Jesus said that Satan is the ruler of this world (eg John 12:31). That is why people believe lies, are cruel and ruthless, that is why this Earth is a planet of suffering. That's why blind children are born... and also lesbians. And that is why Jesus came to this planet…

@@davidbroz6755 Hey, Bro, chill out a little. You don't know the mind of God anymore than I do and neither does Rosaria, for that matter. If you want to believe otherwise, go right ahead. Believer anything you like, and let others do the same without calling their questions "trivial". Trivial is in the eye of the beholder.

Rosario herSElF CHOSE to believe that the Bible is God’s revealed truth and practices surrendering to it. I CHOOSE not to believe the Bible is revealed truth and I practice surrendering to the reality of what is before me (whether I like it or not) So I surrender to her choice, love her and allow her, her beliefs. Unlike Rosario I dont have to choose to believe that people sin and must go to hell, in order for mySELF to feel God’s blessing. . My chosen doctrine is love all creatures as representations of God. In other words I can allow others the practice in the beliefs of Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Judaism, Non Dualism etc. It is the narcissism of the SElF that gets in the way of experiencing oneness and blessings of God, not a particular religious doctrine of right and wrong.

I believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. I believe this is telling the truth, but I see a problem with the interpretation. Whether, for example, a certain passage is true historically or it is the truth of the message and it is, for example, a metaphor - that is always a question. Some passages are unambiguous - for example, Jesus clearly talks about hell. Religions like Buddhism contain some truth but a great deal of falsehood. But any religious doctrine can be misleading - even within Christianity. I believe that hell exists and some people unfortunately end up in it. Who, I don't know. It is written that Jesus died for us while we were still sinful and not reconciled to God. Could this mean that he also died for people of other religions? Maybe so, and I'm inclined to think so. But I'm not sure about that. I don't think your salvation lies in whether or not you believe in hell or who goes to it. It's not even our business to decide, that's God's business. It is a fact that when Jesus (chapter 25 of the Gospel of Matthew) describes the last judgment - he does not mention anything explicitly religious, but everything here consists in showing mercy and compassion to others. But there is danger for you (as well as for everyone). You are putting your opinion above the Scriptures. But then how do you distinguish between right and wrong. What is your guide then? Are these your individual feelings? Intuition? Are you convinced that God speaks directly to you and tells you the truth? Well, I think you can get yourself into a lot of mistakes. In the end, God alone will judge us all, and I sincerely hope that none of your mistakes will be fatal.

You do know that you can be Christian and transgender right? On June 22, 2022, Pope Francis held a private audience at the Vatican with six transwomen of different cultural and social backgrounds. For those of us who are and have always been Christians, we read the NT in its entirety and don't demonize people. It's always the later life converts who bring the most "enthusiasm" for fire and brimstone and judgmentalism to the discussion based on their own prior hurts. And that, my friends, is a shame.

I just read her book, after it was ''gifted'' to me by a religious nutjob. (Well, read some of it, skimmed over the many long and mind-numbingly boring parts). The following two sentences tell you everything you need to know about the author. "...after my [childhood] best friend confessed to having sex with our parish priest. Years later, I learned through a newspaper article that my mom found that Father P had had sex with a lot of children". This woman is unable to distinguish ''sex'' from ''rape''. In the first sentence, by using the word ''confessed'', the author places all responsibility and blame for this crime squarely on THE VICTIM - a child who was raped by an adult in a position of power. In the second sentence, by referring to serial rape of children as ''having sex'', the author betrays her ignorance of what ''having sex'' is, by using the term as if it applies in any way to rape. This is significant to one of the premises the book centers around. The mental and emotional impact for a lesbian of sexual intercourse with a man (even if the man is her husband and she gives him clear verbal consent) is similar to that of rape or non-consensual sex. However, since her religion and firmly-held convictions oblige her to engage in heterosexual sex and to think of it as ''having sex'' regardless of any discomfort or physical/mental/emotional damage, of course she would be unable to see the difference between rape and ''having sex''. It's interesting how although the author states she had felt attraction to women, not once does she clearly state feeling sexual attraction to any man. (Even though she insists that she magically transformed from a homosexual to a heterosexual). This author is a very lost individual and I would discourage anyone from reading this book or taking it seriously. In addition, I believe she should NEVER be allowed to adopt or foster children, given her ambiguous attitude towards child rape by religious leaders.

Ijkhd BBE I’m not sure how an entire body of argument is easily dismissed by one objection you have. That would be like saying, “you’re a man/woman/poor/rich person, therefore, whatever you have to say, regardless of how unrelated the ideas are are untrue.” It’s a logical fallacy and you would never accept that same standard being applied to you.

I would think that with her education (in English, no less), and her history of social activism and awareness; if she had needed to use the word 'rape' in that context, she would have. She knows the facts of the case and the context. Over-using a word diminishes its impact.

I do not think you fully understand the information presented to you. I'm certain the author would have presented that report by her child hood friend as something that instilled in her a deep repulsion of Christianity. This is not really about the author but about the author's claim knowing that the author lived a very similar life and if you can write off the author you do not have to pay any mind to wild claims that a professed lesbian would later willingly enjoy and engage in marital sex with a man. When you mention that to sleep with a man even if consent was there it would feel like rape we are no longer talking about the author but you struggling with the wild claims that there is a Living God that can make that a reality in your life and that you would no longer feel that way. Jesus often made claims that turned the world upside down even to the Israelites in his day but make no mistake Jesus is alive and well.
