Rosaria Butterfield's testimony is reaching so many lgbtq. I saw her testimony after i was saved when i left lgbtq and found my true identity in Christ Jesus. I'm not gay. That was one of my sins. And sanctification is a process but being obedient to God and following Christ removes sinful lustful same sex feelings. It doesn't happen overnight not leaning on my own understanding and trusting God repenting of my lustful adulterous sin was the first step the Holy Spirit removed that sinful lust that was not of God. Repenting and hurting over that sin and my disobedience to God brought me truth, peace, joy and love. And opened my eyes to the deception of the enemy to have us turn away from God. The enemy uses the most precious word in the human language love... And the enemy perverts and distorts what true love is bc God is Love.Lust is not love that's of the enemy. .You can't rely on your own intellect to come to God bc that's pride and a lie. No one is good but the Father. We rely on God to come to God, with humility we don't rely on ourselves our sinful selfish ego driven human flesh. That's why we have to deny ourselves to follow Christ Jesus. Its no coincidence that the word "pride" is used with lgbtq. The core of all sin.. it's no coincidence that the rainbow is used with lgbtq. God's covenant with Noah not to destroy mankind. Thats how insidious the enemy is, that's what a liar and destroyer the enemy is, the enemy took sacred things of God to deceive lgbtq. Bc the enemy comes in the deception of light. It comes down to. Growing in Christ.. Don't wait for sinful lust to disappear to obey God, we tell the flesh no bc God is more important than the sinful flesh, and the Holy Spirit will do internal work to remove same sex attraction. God makes it simple not easy but simple. Laying down pride means laying down that im not more intelligent than God. That i not only don't have the authority nor the right im nothing but a lowly sinner its God that gives me worth, that i can never earn. We are to come to Christ as small innocent trusting children.Asking God Almighty why this and why that we wouldn't understand anyway. God is the Alpha and the Omega the arrogance of thinking we could ever understand the mysteries of God. Its like a kindergarten child sitting in a graduate level physics college class. Even if the professor explained physics to 5 year olds they wouldn't understand. Thats why we start with humility of how small and sinful we are to Holy God .God is such a good Father that He doesn't expect us to understand. His ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts. God is not trying to elevate our intellect. God is trying to bring us to perfect righteousness and love through sanctification. We can't fathom God's love is eternal and infiniite so much so, that Christ Jesus was crucified for me a sinful wicked person in the flesh. To give me life. Life isn't about "happiness" and serving our sin. Its about picking up our cross and following Christ Jesus to draw closer to God. God gives us strength and joy in our suffering that far ranks sinful "happiness". God is so loving that He gives us the love to love Him. We don't even provide that love. God does. We learn what real love is from God. And it's unimaginable unexpressable to explain. You look back and not only realize how merciful and patient God was in my sin. And how i that sinful life was not only a cancer in my soul but how i settled for sin instead of the indescribable love of God. I have nothing but my brokenness to offer God and yet God loves me so much that He fills me with love guidance strength and joy through the Holy Spirit.. A Spirit of power and love and not fear. Salvation not only makes you whole through sanctification but through enough spiritual maturity with the work the Holy Spirit does within you, you never miss your past sinful life, you grieve your sin through the Holy Spirit.. You truly become a new creature in Christ. Praise God❤

LOVE THIS: is God love, or are my feelings love??? Love is what God says because God IS love. …. Overcome IN the SAVIOUR. YES!!!!! I love Rosaria’s witness because she shares the transformative power of God. I KNOW what a sinner I am, I know I need that. I can listen to her all the time, her witness reminds me that GOD is real, and because He is real and Jesus is Saviour Heaven is my goal, change is possible, what I’ve learned in scripture all my life is real and there is a point to walking the hard road against the grain of social pressure, that facing rejection, ridicule, and skepticism has value because even if no one comes around we come closer to God and that example may still bring others around. But either way, I can come closer to God and that makes it all worth it. Her message brings me so much hope, speaks peace to my soul, affirms scripture and serves as a way God speaks to me. I’m so thankful for the sacrifices she has made and continues to make to serve in this way. I’m so grateful she makes the time to reach out to mitigate suffering for so many.

@michalemichael2 Many try to unhitch the OT from the NT. She's pointing out that we cannot separate the gospel from the Old Testament. If there was no historical Adam, there is no historical second Adam (Jesus). No acknowledgement of the Fall means an incomplete knowledge of Redemption. (See 26:52) And also Romans 5:12.

The question asked is why do you think being God's image bearer speaks to these problems we have in our culture (ie the 5 lies)? "The seeds of the Gospel are in the garden. No Adam. No Christ." and the goes on to say that we need the entire Bible, not just the words of Christ. Of course this is correct. And Michaelmichael2 is right also, that Christ is the reason creation came into being. Christ wasn't made for us, but we were made for God. But that's a non-sequitur and not what she was talking about. I took it to mean you can't understand the mission and ministry of Christ in its glorious fullness if you don't recognize all the Bible as the Word of God. Also, in a technical sense, and in accordance with God's eternal plan, Christ came in human flesh. The Messiah was promised to Eve's descendants (and later more particularly through Abraham and Sarah and then Mary). The biology was necessary. Which doesn't diminish God, but reveals unfathomable humility. But in the end, I think it was a less than clear answer to the question. Better might be, If we identify with what God says/reveals about us in Adam (sin) and what God makes us to be in Christ (righteous) then we would not fall for these lies that the world says about us.
