Rosół. Polish Penicillin. Polish Chicken Soup

Ойын-сауық

This is an authentic Rosół. Translated as bouillon or chicken soup. Its full of nutrition and amazing layers of various flavors. This is where your grandma's chicken soup recipe came from. A taste of the Old World and so healthy for you... hence its nickname of Polish penicillin. Using as close to authentic versus an American version of ingredients is important. Its well worth the effort. SMACZNEGO!

Nice! Quick tip or tips - #1. roast one of the onions over the stove medium flame and the second onion (if you're using yellow onions) dunk into the soup with the skin on - washed of course. This will give the soup amazing golden color and sweet toasty flavor. #2. After you add all the vegetables do not ever fully close the lid - leave the pot partially open. This will prevent the soup/rosol from going foggy. If you leave it open the soup should be crystal clear. 3# when you make a large batch and you're bored after eating the soup/rosol for 2 days in a row, add tomato puree and/or passata (to your liking) and you'll have the best tomato soup ever :) Aside: My grandma sometimes used boiled potatoes instead of noodles, worth a try. Or meats from the soup with horseradish, potatoes and veges from the soup as a second course.

Only thing is id be worried about the aluminum pot. Also, my family would always add 1/4 tsp white vinegar to the bowl. Also, i add dill

Personally I loaded up with dill too. My favorite herb. I agree that the aluminum might be suspect. You put a teaspoon of vinegar in every portion bowl?

I made up my own but unfortunately I could not find celery root at the time I made it. Of course in Poland they sell them everywhere.
