    Funny you mentioned Jimmy Hendrix, he was asked in an interview what's it like being the World's greatest guitar player, Jimmy's response was, I don't know, ask Rory Gallagher. I only managed to see Rory the once, at Reading Rock Festival.

    What a performance....the energy is off the scale. Rory's ability on the guitar was in a league of its own......Gerry McEoy's bass playing is also top notch. Would have loved to have seen this band live.
