    Roof sales is not for everyone. How one video can change your life | Ben Menchaca 2.0 kzread.info/dash/bejne/nYuhlJeifMm6ps4.html

    Im 33 and have been playing video games all my life with no real job. Recently my mom hired a roofing company to do the roof and I volunteered to help. I learned so much about myself and about society when doing my moms roof. Its definitely a mans job. And not enough people appreciate what hard physical work can not only do for you financially, but physically and mentally. After the roof was done, which had 3 layers of shingles, I felt that I could take on anything. I felt more like a "man" so to speak. I wanted to get out there and started volunteering for other professions. I had wasted so much time playing video games and doing dumb things instead of helping society and making money in the process.

    Love the mindset you guys are sharing here! Ben drops some golden pro tips here about the approach. The mindset of helping people, just walking and talking with new friends... The ceiling was sagging already they recently replaced it with a metal header. They where planning on replacing all the felt paper with rain and icy shield but the quote was around 100k it is a multi million dollar home. The insurance called it wear and tear and do not want to cover any of it

    @@matthewneufer1758 there are numerous ways to tell storm damage from man made damage. 1st, man made damage will often crush granules at the impact area whereas hail only removes granules. There is a course from HAAG, taught by engineers and people who have investigated the different damages for decades, that goes into great detail on how to know which is which. I won't go into it all here in case a fraudster may read it in the future, I hate to give advice on how to be a better crook.

    USAA by far is best for insurance for those who have access. One creased shingle = full roof. Their premiums are high in comparison to most, but overall best I've dealt with. Worst is State Farm... EXCEPT in a disaster (hurricane) environment.They write checks on the spot in those instances.

  • @rjdangelo

    @rjdangelo

    Isn't it funny how that can vary from place to place? Where are you from? Here in Pennsylvania StateFarm is the best: they buy everything, they never challenge hail dates, never try to just replace single shingles, always do the full roof. USAA is notoriously bad out here.

    @@RR_184 we don't get huge hail here either. When the SF CAT teams come out, there is sometimes a disagreement because those guys are often from Colorado or Texas and are used to seeing massive damage. But in the end, the SF desk adjusters buy as long as the damage is documented with photographs. They really do right by their insureds out here, in my experience. But I have heard a lot of people say that they are bad in other areas of the country.

    Edward Bernays sold more bacon, basically putting it on every American breakfast table... Without selling bacon. He coined marketing phrases like 9 out 10 doctors recommend a healthy breakfast... of course bacon was the main item of this healthy breakfast. It was all about the approach and non-attachment on his side of the equation.

    On a typical deal worth $10k, expenses would be about $6,500. Depending on what company you sell for, your commission for selling the job would be around $1,000. Company is then left with about $2,500 profit

What do you advise my brothers and what do you recommend for us to start cranking out roof jobs. Thanks for the vid

If the roof is damage then its damage it only has to be functional damage Granular loss is functional damage granular functions to repell u.v. rays off the madding.

    @@topproducer201 hey guys so I have an llc, a contractor license for my state, I’ve found affordable insurance and I have a reliable sub contractor ready for work. All I need is the jobs I guess that’s what’s stopping me from paying the insurance. I’m thinking of just doing it. Putting up signs and knocking on prospective homes. I already have sales experience, and even know how much to pay my sub. I know how much my market charges for profesional roofing jobs but I’m not sure how to quote it or give receipts. I don’t know intricacies I guess, all I know is my area generally charges around 400 a square. Also I see some companies who just hire salesmen so they don’t have to do all that, but where would I find these people? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I really want to change my life and my families and I know I can do it I just need a little bit of help. Anyway if you read this long, cheers and thank you.

    In all honesty. Insurance fraud is more common that what is said. That’s why reputable companies don’t handle insurance claims. In Florida it’s technically against the law. Don’t know what loophole they use to get around it. If you have to chase storms to survive as as a company, it says quite a bit about your company imo. I have yet to see a storm chaser put on a high quality roof. It’s just not the market for that. It’s all sales and doing it as fast as possible. During hurricanes in Florida we’ll get calls 4 months in from crews “hey we’re looking for work so and so company didn’t pay us”. Somewhere along the line someone is getting screwed. Yes there’s some reputable companies that are doing this. But like Ben said if it’s there it’s there it’s not rocket science.
