Here’s an idea for you to develop & implement. I only want one percent [1%] of the proceeds if you please & I know that you’re honourable enough to honour this. There needs to be an Independant 3rd. Party BONDED fiduciary between the Homeowner & the Roofing contractors. This BONDED fiduciary would handle the notarization & witnessing of executed contracts, the recording of a security deposit to be held in escrow with said escrow only dispersed upon final 3rd.-party inspection of Material receipts from contractor, Labour pay-outs, & Overhead-&-Profit “numbers” all reconciled on a balance-sheet that each of the signatories (contractors, subcontractors, homeowners) Would have TRANSPARENT access to & sign-off on after proper review, with the fiduciary signing-off on all things respectfully considered & *THEN* the monies held in escrow being dispersed & paid out with a withholding of a contingency fee for the processing. There is a double standard going on in the insurance industry like nothing I’ve ever seen. All these policies are set up to benefit the insured yet they only want to accept evidence when it benefits the carrier.

For too long, homeowners used homeowners insurance to replace their roof. Hail damage was seen as a ticket to a new roof with only a deductible paid. Insurance companies were slow to see the trend and over-paid for legitimate damage. Add in soaring material and labor costs and that describes present day. Any consumer, with a mortgage, should buy stock in an insurance company if they think rates are TOO high.

Which insurance company do you work for? No mention of the suppliers. Jacking up the prices for the insurance company. Amount of money that they make every year? So you think that insurance companies are going to pay too much for materials? Do you think that when they find legitimate damage that they’re just feel guilty and decide to pay for it? do you feel like they shouldn’t cover a damaged roof? Your comments are confusing me. I have lots more questions.

For too long car owners see their accident damage as a ticket to new panels on their car. Taking advantage of insurance companies and driving them into the poorhouse insanity stop should not have been in that intersection. You have no right to get your car back to the way it was.

@@kevinjohnson7418Come on Mr. Johnson insurance companies have no problem spending billions of dollars on advertising….I mean dollars to pennies they’re gonna scream about every little un-negotiated expense on materials but they won’t scream one bit when it comes to advertising costs….🤦‍♂️😂🤡

@@kevinjohnson7418 if hail damages 5% of the roof, the check should be to repair the 5% damaged. The insurance companies were too generous in replacing the entire roof.
